Cycle bollards revisited
Has anyone come across the new cycle lane bollards? Poor thinking there!
The base of these are pretty high and could lead to accidents involving pedestrians in less well lit areas. The bollards being flexible could invite much attention from roaming youths. What do you think of them?

I've no idea what you mean. Nobody seems to have mentioned these before.

The original ones were targeted by both youths kicking them over and motorists playing skittles.

This subject has already been covered in considerable depth in these and other website pages...
People's general opinion of them is pretty well known by now.

So did you manage to test them out for the fun you could get out of them, then?

It's regrettable that such measures are needed at all. However, without them, bike-lanes often end up being used as linear car-parks. If not bollards (wands), what else could be done to protect these lanes and the riders using them?
