Where did i say that?
They should be placed in a “holding centre” while their applications are heard, processed and approved not just left to their own devices.
i agree

These holding centers are going to have to be very big, we got over a thousand yesterday just across the channel never mind the other means of entry.
Britannia will be on a buying spree looking for more hotels and camps.
As the Australians did, turn them back, take the international opprobrium and refuse point blank any illegal entrants application and deport straight away.
I accept the problem is where, we will have to have a country to take them for us like Australia did, the novelty will soon wear off coming illegally.
Then we can concentrate on helping people who can't get here.

Once we start rapidly processing and returning failed applicants word will soon get around and they will look elsewhere, this case in Liverpool highlights that the Government / Home Office are complicit in dragging out the appeals procedures.

There currently seems to be no limit to the amount of times that you can appeal the decision.
Application denied, immediately appeal, process starts again and again by which time some have disappeared into the community.
The current system does nothing to deter those wishing to come here illegally, once you set foot on UK soil, you’re here for good.
You are correct, once they know that there is a very good chance they will be returned the flow will ease.

The only country that I can think of is Israel. Within living memory, Jews fled to what was then Mandatory Palestine to escape the rising anti-Semitism in some pre-WWII European countries, and the rise of Nazi Germany. This continued throughout the war, and in the immediate post war years until the State of Israel was created in 1948.
The PNP's description of immigrants taking over doesn't really jive with what happened in Israel. It's a lot more complex than that. And, in my opinion, re-taking a country from a colonial master is justified. However, I'm damned if I can think of any other country where something similar happened within living memory.
You cited an example, PNP, why won't you tell us where this happened?

As for 'one rule for all'. The way things are going, with more of 'them' always arriving, coupled to what is probably a high birth-rate.....How long before they are in the majority, take control of Parliament - and declare Britain to be a sharia State or something?
It's not as if something along those lies hasn't happened to a country before, and within living memory at that.....Incoming migrant 'refugees', once in the majority, not only took over a government, they changed the very name of the country, its currency and language too. Not to mention hogging all the best bits, whilst ethnically cleansing the existing indigenous population to the periphery, or kicking them out altogether!
Well that clarifies your position. You're an Islamaphobe. What is the current percentage of Muslims in the UK population? Care to tell me how this will escalate to such a degree that they will outnumber you? And don't give me the hackneyed reason that they breed like rabbits. Or are you of the belief, like Said, that 70 billion of them will soon be on your doorstep? Look on the bright side, they might prefer cooking and heating with wood.
Name of the country in your example, please.

Who would ever make a prediction on birth rates isn't it more about influence?
We are a majority of non-believers in a country of state-approved religions.
Islam does appear to have more of an effect on our lives than its relatively small number of followers but in parts of London it's 50% Muslim and of course tiny numbers elsewhere.
I can think of no other religion that affects our lives as much.

How does it affect your life?
I can't say it's ever affected mine.

Well granted we have to be alert to the threat of terrorism from all branches of extremism as we have done for decades but i can't say it scares me or limits my enjoyment of life. It's not something that really crosses my mind as i go about getting on with life.
One is more likely to be mugged or burgled by one's fellow countrymen than be a victim of terrorism.
Wars- has an islamic country ever declared war on this country? No. Perhaps we shouldn't get involved in other people's wars. We'd be less at risk from terrorism then.
Education? Not sure what you mean. Understanding and tolerance of other regions has been taught in schools for decades. It did surprise me to be learning about other religions in a catholic school back in 1979 but it did me no harm.
Free speech? Here you are voicing your own opinion on a daily basis.

I wonder how many followers attend a church compared to the numbers who attend a mosque?
I would dispute that parts of London Islam is as much as 50% and other parts of the country it is tiny numbers, I would have thought that some parts of London may possibly be 20 - 25% but a dark skin doesn't = muslim. It certainly isn't tiny numbers in many parts of the country I would think that places like Blackburn, Bolton, Rochdale and Bradford would also be approaching those figures.

I'm sure the hordes of Protestant Christians who descend on Orangemens Day are all in church every Sunday surely?
