We are talking about today’s problems, not years ago.
You obviously believe it’s OK for the sudden anti-semitism which has raised its ugly head.
In one of your earlier posts you commented that a it’s OK for all the pro Palestinian rallies. Many of those rallies are backed by Hamas supporters, who are indoctrinating young students into believing the lies which are being told.
There is none so blind ,as those who can’t see.
Have you ever been to Israel or any of the bordering places ?
I lost a good friend at the Nova massacre on the 7/10/23.
A young 34 year old Doctor who left his family to attend wounded..

shippy, I quickly discovered that you posted at the very beginning of this thread — 13 May 2021, Eid al-Fitr as happens — and that you lamented the fact that Israeli police intervened at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on that Muslim holy day! You did not seem to have thought to yourself that these Muslim Palestinians have a genuine grievance.
I suspect from your post that you will have visited Israel. - Did you perchance visit the West Bank?
- Did you travel the highways for Israeli Jews to and from the settlements?
- Did you notice walls placed to obscure a view into the villages of the Arab residents?
- Had you experienced the checkpoints West Bank residents must endure to travel within the West Bank? — unlikely, I am guessing!
Your post #15 cited another linking to an article offering a very one-sided account asserting that it has been always the Palestinian side that blocked any manner of settlement of the dispute between the incoming European Jews and the preexisting Arab population.
I have read much about that history in the three years since this thread was started. There is a determined pattern of distortion from Herzl's Der Judenstaat onward essentially saying variously there are and never have been Palestinians, else the Palestinians have no rights, else the Palestinians have forfeited their rights because they have resisted the Zionist programme.

Israeli student questioned at UK airport: Is there a new British policy to question IDF veterans?
https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-798841
"They started asking, 'Were you in the army?' Were you a fighter? 'I told them that I had diabetes and that I was not a fighter but in intelligence."
So... He was in military intelligence for a country whose military is accused of dozens of different war crimes?
At best he should expect to be questioned. Should’ve been questioned about complicity in war crimes.

1. It is only fair as Palestinian students get the same scrutiny.
2. Border Force ask questions to check veracity of claims.
How would a Brit know the if a Palestinian terrorist was posing as a Israeli student?
3.You should worry about your own allegiance to human rights abuses.

They would have known all about him before he took off, it would have been a severe breach of security if a member of a foreign military never mind intelligence service had arrived without being stopped.

It doesn’t worry me in the least.
Siding with the oppressed, not the oppressors.
You should be ashamed of yourself.

How did they not know he was a student Mr P?
Or for that matter not an Israeli Palestinian student?

Why?
Is it because I am Jewish?

It matters not whether he was an alleged student or not, they would have had intel that he was military and or intelligence services.

"Neriya says that at the end of the questioning, they asked for proof of all his plans for the weekend, a return flight ticket, booking a place to stay, and a bus ticket to London.
"They tried to be nice, and when the most senior of them left the room, the junior said to me: 'We don't have a problem with you, but because you come from this region, we just want to make sure. There are simply others who come here with other intentions, you know.'
Explains it all Mr P.

But if he wasn't military or intelligence would he have been stopped?
I doubt it.

"Claims have been made that it would be illegal for British citizens to serve in Israeli forces, something rejected by the UK Government.
The latest confirmation came in response to a Written Parliamentary Question.
Afzal Khan Labour MP for Manchester, Gorton, asked:
“To ask the Minister of State, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, what guidance his Department issues to British nationals that plan to volunteer to assist the Israeli Defence Forces with the conflict in Gaza.
Andrew Mitchell, Minister of State (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office), responded:
“FCDO travel advice provides British nationals with information on the risks of travelling or living abroad. The FCDO provides advice to British nationals on the risks of travelling to Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territories. This guidance can be found on Gov.uk.
The UK recognises the right of British nationals with additional nationalities to serve in the legitimately recognised armed forces of the country of their other nationalities. The Israel Defence Force is a recognised armed force and British nationals are both able to volunteer into the Israel Defence Force and eligible for national service. For Israel, one does not have to be Israeli to serve in the Israel Defence Force.”
