He must get a cracking discount at only £2,000.

He failed or, more accurately, withdrew from basic training for the Royal Marines, which is a world of difference from normal cuddly softly softly basic training. The 'potential course', which has an attrition rate of 50%, would be too much for most on here.

What is it with these deviant princes? Another great reason for scrapping the monarchy.
‘Prince Michael of Kent was willing to use his royal status for personal profit, and provide access to Russian President Vladimir Putin's regime, a Sunday Times and Channel 4 report says.’

Did you pass basic training, any basic training let alone Royal Marines basic training? People would do well to remember that there are tens of thousands of ex servicemen who like and respect the Royal family. The minority who decry the Royal family are just that, a minority so out of touch with opinion that they also fail to see that the Labour party and it's thugs are finished, except in a few places like poor old Merseyside where a monkey with a red rosette would be elected.

Not very patriotic for one of ‘our’ royals to go sidling up to the brutal leader of a totalitarian / authoritarian state that has carried out multiple war crimes, is intent on influencing elections in foreign states and carries out poisonings on those that dare speak out against him.

He has Russian ancestry, Prince Michael speaks fluent Russian and has a strong interest in Russia, where he is a well-known figure (he is a recipient of the Order of Friendship). Tsar Nicholas II was a first cousin of three of his grandparents: George V, Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark, and Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia. When the bodies of the Tsar and some of his family were recovered in 1991, the remains were later identified by DNA using, among others, a sample from Prince Michael for recognition. He attended the 1998 burial of the Tsar and his family in St Petersburg. He is an Honorary Member of the Romanov Family Association. He is also the second cousin of Maria Vladimirovna, Grand Duchess of Russia, who is a claimant to the headship of the Imperial Family of Russia. They share the same great-grandfather, Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich. Prince Michael is the patron of organisations which have close ties with Russia.
Prince Michael is an active Freemason, he is the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons, and Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Middlesex.

Hence the need to marry 'out' now and again. It's a very small gene pool.

One more nail in the royal coffin.
I watched this guy being tricked into accepting a fake bribe. He came across as being so sneaky.
If he needs money, can't he be trained to do something he might be capable of such as selling men's ties in a clothing store? He seems to like ties, particularly ones with excessively large knots.
