The problem is all the recent violent disorder of note in America was from Black Lives Matters demonstrations.
Washingtons Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser and Democrat Governor Jay Inslee like the rest of us did not expect the Trump demonstrators to walk on through like they did breaking the doors..
Once in, they walked round like a bunch of tourists let off the leash.
I didn't see any organisation for breaking through the entrances.
Hate and violence is a trademark of left wing demonstrations and that is when the riot police would normally be out in force.
We have had numerous examples of similar violence here.
Look at this lot;
1979: Southall riots during an Anti-Nazi League demonstration in opposition to the National Front.
1981: Brixton riot against the Metropolitan Police. Especially on 10 July, rioting extended to other parts of London and numerous other cities around the UK[11]
1985: Brixton riot against the Metropolitan Police after they shot the mother of suspect Michael Groce
1985: Broadwater Farm riot, residents of Tottenham riot against the Metropolitan Police following a death during a police search
1990: Poll Tax riots followed the introduction of a poll tax
1993: Welling riots, October 1993.[12] A march organised by the ANL,[13][14] the SWP and Militant resulted in riots against the Metropolitan police.[12][note 1]
1994: Riot during the second march against the Criminal Justice Bill
1995: 1995 Brixton riot against the Metropolitan Police occurred after a death in police custody
1996: Rioting in Trafalgar Square and surrounding streets following England losing against Germany in the semi-final of UEFA Euro 1996
Police push back rioters during the 2011 London riots
1999: Carnival Against Capitalism riot
2000: Anti-capitalist May Day riot[17]
2001: May Day riot in central London by anti-capitalist protestors.[18]
2002: Rioting around The New Den stadium following Millwall F.C. losing against Birmingham City F.C. in the 2002 Football League Division One play-off.
2009: G-20 London summit protests occurred in the days around the G-20 summit.
2009: Upton Park riot before, during and after a 2009–10 Football League Cup second round match between West Ham United F.C. and Millwall F.C..
2010: UK student protests against increases in student fees and public sector cuts.
2011: Anti-cuts protest in London against government public spending cuts.
2011: England riots, initially in London, following the police shooting of Mark Duggan in Tottenham
2017: Rioting outside Forest Gate police station following the Death of Edson Da Costa.

You didn't see any organisation because it was done on-line before the event. There were many groups, each with their own agenda - some were there to make a point, some were there to kill. You must have seen the members of one group, done up in full camo and military gear, pushing their way through the crowd in a military style line to get to the front. They weren't there for a spelling bee. Or the Lt Colonel with a fist full of zip ties. Was he there to join a macrame group in the chamber?
Looking at your list of so-called left wing riots you seem to have some insight that others don't.... football riots are left wing activists?
And don't be so naive about BLM riots in recent times. The FBI has identified many right wing activists who were responsible for the mayhem during those protests. They are good at false flag activities, I'll give hem that. Also, you seem to believe that left wing violence balances out right wing violence. A childish world view.
Listening to the debate in the house this afternoon I hear the same feeble excuses for a pretty appalling situation. What is it that Trump has, even now, that makes people lose common sense and decency? It baffles me.

Millwall hooligans are trademark left wing?
During the same period there's been plenty right wing violence that you've chosen to conveniently ignore.

Funny but the above incidents appear to happen following an injustice occurring to Black people.

There was no fraud, at least by Democrats.
The only documented fraud was double-voting by a Trump supporter in Nevada and the bogus vote collection kiosks in California, admitted by the Republicans.
But in the months leading to the election, attempts by Trump, to disable the USPS to delay and disqualify postal votes. Voter suppression in Texas, Georgia and Florida. By the GOP
Trump had said , in the summer, that if he lost it would be a rigged election. While polls showed Biden ahead pretty much to the margin he finally won by.
So Trump now tries to make his prophecy true, irrespective of the consequences. Tries acts to subvert the vote which no previous politician would have dared to do. While repeating he had been cheated, without ANY verified evidence. Courts throwing out his efforts in disgust. Giulani now faces losing his NY licence to practice for his behaviour.
Yet these people still believe him. People for whom he has contempt. There is some kind of repressed anger venting here and he has unleashed it.
But we should not overestimate these loud oafs. How do the 70 million plus who DID vote for him feel now, as they watch his ego drag the US into anarchy? My guess is that millions of ordinary Americans will never vote for him again.
Your prediction would be true in a normal world. Sadly, I fear that in two years time this will all have been just another tale in the saga of Trump and the millions who voted for him will have rationalised away their part in the demise of democracy. In fact, they'll probably be proud of it and will vote for Trump's next incarnation , whoever that is, probably Donny Jnr.

I can't see the Republicans making the same mistake again, next time it will be a steady hand on offer.

Classic whataboutery at it’s most blatant, do not condone or excuse violence as a form of protest, but you site a collection of incidents from different causes, some incidentally in response to violence they were met with.
Very few if any stemmed from promotion of lies and misinformation from so called leaders of the country, bringing in football hooliganism as some sort of comparison is ludicrous, remember at no time were protests and riots purely political from just one side of politics.
Your right wing hero overstepped it totally, is now frantically trying to distance himself from the results.
Certainly some were wandering about like lost sheep, but there was a large hard core bent on murder or kidnap, their intention ( clearly encouraged by Trump) was to overturn a democratic vote by force, a power grab reminiscent of Communism, the very thing they claim to oppose.

Maybe, but it won't be the Republican party on offer today. My hope is that a new party forms so that the republicans who have felt unable to vote for Trump will have a home. All democracies need a decent and strong opposition. My fervent hope is that the crazies in the Trump party are marginalized politically if not socially.

What is strange is that many of Trump’s ardent defenders and supporters within the Republican Party, were opposed to Trump before he gained the Presidency, in fact many were even then warning as to how Trump would conduct himself and the Presidency, yet they then fell into line when it looked to be politically expedient to do so.

I know, I'm bewildered by it. It's an alternate universe. I've seen a montage of people like Ted Cruz, Lyndsey Graham et al whose comments pre his election are juxtaposed against their later sycophancy. They seem incapable of being embarrassed or feeling shame.

I did a quick Wiki cut and paste to show that the overwhelming majority of violent protests are from the left it appears to have hit a nerve.
Sorry but it's just a fact of life.
There was no great organisation to the Capitol storming.
Odd people as always came to make trouble but overwhelmingly it was a spontaneous event from a protest march.
Hundreds of demonstrators wandering around taking pictures is not the actions of an organised mob, sorry but the facts are there for all to see and many of the protestors were happy to be interviewed afterwards.
Contrast the aftermath with many BLM protests where buildings were left in flames and ransacked.
That same day Congress was back up and running.
The hooligan element deserves everything the courts throw at them but a crackpot in fur and a man with his feet up on a desk isn't the end of civilisation.
Could any of you orange misties give us the words Trump used to incite this action

Rumour has it that the riots were organised by the Democrats and acted out. After all - who benefited most from the riots.

Yeah, rumours started incredibly in the Capitol building immediately after
the riot, by Matt Gaetz and pounced on by the people with the most to gain...I'll give you a clue, it's not the Democrats. They are already in power.

Thats a little unlikely Trump is on his way out and the Democrats have got a doddering old bloke in power to pick up the pieces of a pandemic and Trumps political bulldozer.
The Democrats now look a bit stupid trying to impeach him when there are certainly bigger things to do.
The ludicrous pursuit of Trump plays right into his hands.

Ayanna Presley - Democrat - "Make the phone calls, send the emails, show up," "You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there’s unrest in our lives."
Kamala Harris - Democrat - "This is a movement, I’m telling you, they’re not going to stop, and everyone beware, because they’re not going to stop before Election Day in November, and they’re not going to stop after Election Day," she said. "And everyone should take note of that, on both levels, that they’re not going to let up, and they should not, and we should not."
Maxine Waters - Democrat - "You think we’re rallying now? You ain’t seen nothing yet,". "Already you have members of your Cabinet that are being booed out of restaurants ... protesters taking up at their house saying ‘no peace, no sleep.’""If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,"
And more telling was the silence from the Democrats during the five months of unrest. During which time armed mobs stormed courthouses and police stations, and took over parts of Portland and New York with little or no opposition for months !
