Pubs Open from 12th Which ones?
Has anyone an idea of which pubs will be open from 12th April and what facilities they have for sitting outside?
Yours in anticipation and thirstiness

They were quite noticeable in my area with the chairs and tables and queue's at the hatch!
Shopping was difficult.
I wish the Gov had waited until schools were back.

I went for a pint yesterday to the Sparrowhawk in Woodvale. Very well organised with a large marquee on their patio area with sensibly spaced seating and also picnic tables on the grassed area alongside the wood. The beer was good too.

Hi did you book before you went? I have decided to take a couple of days holiday and I was thinking of a bike ride up to Formby passing that way before returning.
Thanks

Nice quiet route that. And with weather set fair, sounds like a plan. When I meandered down the old road past the Sparrowhawk last week, they still had their driveway fenced off with empty beer kegs!
Btw, you're brave mentioning that particular mode of transport on here. If they happen to read your post, the 'Q' bike whack-a-mole brigade will no doubt have something to say about it.

No, I didn't book, but I only sat on a bench in the sun and enjoyed a couple of pints. I'm sure that if you wanted a table in the marquee for a meal, you would be better off booking.

My wife and I went today for a bike ride. It was very busy but we got one of the last tables. It was enjoyable.
If anyone wants to go I do recommend that you book.

Weather great, so went with a family member, on the bikes to the Velo cafe at Croston. Returned along the back lanes via Stoat Hall, Sollom, etc. Passed several cafes and pubs, all busy serving outdoor customers.
