As for 'one rule for all'. The way things are going, with more of 'them' always arriving, coupled to what is probably a high birth-rate.....How long before they are in the majority, take control of Parliament - and declare Britain to be a sharia State or something?
It's not as if something along those lies hasn't happened to a country before, and within living memory at that.....Incoming migrant 'refugees', once in the majority, not only took over a government, they changed the very name of the country, its currency and language too. Not to mention hogging all the best bits, whilst ethnically cleansing the existing indigenous population to the periphery, or kicking them out altogether!

I have absolutely no problem with immigration what I have a problem with is illegal immigration.
Over the years we have welcomed people of all races, the vast majority whom have settled into the communities and added to the economy.
The current wave of illegal immigrants that are finding their way across the channel are mostly coming under the banner of “asylum seekers”, we have absolutely no idea who they are, where they are from or why they are here.
If they are indeed asylum seekers, how many safe countries have they passed through to risk a dangerous crossing from France ? why not ask for asylum in one of the other countries they have traveled through.
Why are so many fit young men on their own.
Apparently the Liverpool bomber was a failed asylum seeker that shouldn’t have been here, immigration is fine and can be of benefit to both parties but we need to know who we are letting in to live among us.

People in the UK do not have to like each others cultures or beliefs.
The line is drawn at racism bigotry and breaking the law.
This is my view to your forced 'integration'.
Do you mean ethnic cleansing as per European history?

I'm probably being really thick here, but which country are you referring to? Where did those things happen?

The vast majority do.
Should we take none?
Should they all end their journey at the first safe country they come to? If so how would you expect that country to cope?

Really, you’re completely happy to let anyone in without checks, no idea where they are from, their backgrounds etc.
They should be placed in a “holding centre” while their applications are heard, processed and approved not just left to their own devices.
As I said earlier, the Liverpool bomber was a failed asylum seeker, some way to pay back our hospitality.
This is a National security crisis that is only going to end in tears.

It's not quite 'living memory ' but the only take over by immigrants and subsequent ethnic cleansing was the take over of North America and the virtual eradication of the native American Indians.

I think you are confusing immigration with colonisation.

I'm concerned that the former may ultimately morph into the latter.

Any word yet on the name of the "within living memory" country?

Afghan judges in UK fear for colleagues left behind
Under Taliban rule, female judges in Afghanistan have reportedly been tortured and received death threats. Hundreds were forced into hiding, worried that those they'd convicted would now come to seek their revenge after being released from prison.
BBC Newsnight's Sima Kotecha spoke exclusively to female judges who have just arrived in the UK as part of a government rescue mission organised by Baroness Kennedy and the International Bar Association.
The BBC is not using their names for the safety of those they left behind.
