"Asked if the government would impose Tier 3 restrictions on Greater Manchester even without an agreement, Mr Gove told Sky News' Sophy Ridge On Sunday programme: "I want to reach an agreement with the political leadership in Greater Manchester.
"I want them to put aside, for a moment, some of the political positioning that they've indulged in. And I want them to work with us in order to ensure that we save lives and protect the NHS.
"An absence of action will mean more people will get infected, and as more people get infected that will place more pressure on the NHS.
"And the more people, sadly, in intensive care beds in the North West and in Manchester who are suffering from coronavirus, the fewer intensive care beds are there for people with other serious conditions.
"All of this is happening as we move closer to the winter and instead of press conferences and posturing, what we need is action to save people's lives."

Of course the guest professor my question was directed to waffled around it for several minutes, which took the phone-in up to 10am close, so I didn't get an opportunity to speak again and challenge anything he said.
But hey, if nothing else some of the folk listening in to the show, might now look for themselves at the actual NHS website published daily deaths figures.

No - it most certainly does not apply to me alone. I am by far not the only Conspiracy Analyst around. There are thousands of people who believe the same. I am not going to prove it either - facts don't have to be proved, It is for you to prove what you claim because so fr, you have not offered any evidence,
If you don't listen to any media programmes how did you know there was a phone in on radio 5 live for you to tune into, dial into at the right time and join the discussion?

Yes the data is in the public domain and tells a very different story to your analysis, what do you actually do with a very clear set of figures? do you subtract one figure from the one above? then do a spot of knitting with the rest and whatever come out is the answer.

Pity your thought, there, came to an odd stop (though maybe Crankwatch needed a scrap of attention). It was as though you were building up to actually saying something.
Only you have the special data interpretation methods that produce results that no-one else can see, and only you have the special methods of listening to radio programmes that allow you to hear your imaginary speech in them. You don't have to prove those facts to anyone - you alone know, and that you alone know makes those methods very special and you very special for knowing them. No wonder you cling onto them.
You're probably only a small step away from a magic moment of knowing that the people in radio programmes are sometimes specially talking direct to you.
Now, that would be very very special for you.

Andy Burnham with the full support of politicians involved, both Tory and Labour, want to see the evidence that government are using and want to see better support for those thrown out of work by government decree.
The facts are that at this moment cases are falling in Gtr Manchester after the crazy peak when students returned, for once ALL local area politicians are united in wanting better provision for those unable to work due to restrictions.
Gove just doing his usual, blame someone else for everything.

The latest observation is that Burnham will be crowned King of the North, and he will rally his bannermen to fight the blonde haired usurper in the South. Those in the North, beyond the wall, will fight for their independence. GoT.

You need a tin foil hat to receive those signals, I believe.

Bit late to the game, like Theon Greyjoy.

A sigh of relief, then, that I don't have one of those, nor a hairnet.

You could be right! It's obvious Said enjoys ghoulish humour.
A modern day mutation of a tricotuese...

It was the Tim Martin's mullet bit that had me howling.
This is an actual photo of the girls and me on a night out at a Chippendales show. How did you get it?
edited: I'm on the left, knitting a willy-warmer. I'm concentrating on getting the size right.

Just been told my daughter's grandparents-in-law (if that's a thing) have got Covid.
Both elderly, neither have been out of the house since March. Her mum-in-law can't say goodbye to them. They haven't got long, don't know if that's a good or bad thing under the circumstances.
They are basically being left at home, both knowing the other is dying.
Probably caught it off a visitor or health worker.
Very sad. Anybody who says it is a hoax is an utter moron.
