Ole has gone - who should replace him?
Man Utd have sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Not entirely unexpected but who would you appoint to take over if you had the choice? Should they bring in a foreign manager or someone closer to home - or doesn't it really matter. Keep your opinions respectful please.

I respectfully suggest they appoint another failure.
Just be yourself, no one else is better qualified!!

Ole should have been retained as head coach . ?????????
The club is a circus, and an old boys club . And also a money box for the Glaziers

I'm sure that Ryan Giggs or David Beckham would do an excellent job (don't know who for though!)

A few big names being thrown into the hat. Zidane isn't in a job right now. Pochettino is a possibility.
But I reckon they'll go with Brendan Rodgers.

Pep Guardiola - multilingual with excellent English, proven track record of management success, plus he's local in that he's already settled in the area.
It would be a pleasant change for him, to again be working for a club with a record of success in the Champions League competition, and be working for a club that doesn't have owners that are repeatedly condemned by Amnesty International.
He's the logical choice.

Yes, he's doing really well at the moment, isn't he?

I think his past connection with LFC may be held against him if it comes to a straight decision between him and Zinedine Zidane.

I'm not sure they would all jump at the chance.
The new manager has to
Square up to Pogba and Ronaldo..their influence has led them astray
Tell Maguire he's not good enough
Get rid of Fred, Mc Tomeney, and Wan Bissaka
Find a long-term replacement for De Gea, and a RB, CB, DM - at least.
Clear out Carrick and the rest ( who on earth extended their contracts in the summer?)
Coping with the fans who will not have the patience for years more team building.
While keeping onside of the Glazers....

Liverpool Supporters Club have started a Go Fund Me page, willing to pay Ole's salary if MU keep him in the job.

I hear there's a "top tier" Norwegian manager recently out of work that is available.
