Just another obsolete organisation, with no website or social media presence and as relevant as a dodo, with an inactive 'membership' list, save for yourself and the person who donates your postage stamps to help fund your tree-unfriendly, letter-sending hobby!
As I say, you yourself don't even wear the retro hi-vis P'n'P top!
Members are happy enough, receiving our electronic Newsletters (via e-mailshots)......Like I said earlier, a groups strength isn't in its website - anyone can 'put one up', lol. In itself, a website even a flashy-looking one, means absolutely zip. A groups true strength is in its members.

Yeah, what pressure groups need a website, or a social media presence, or name-recognition, or publicity, etc... That's dinosaur-reasoning! Penny-Farthing reasoning!

How twee and noble-sounding! Yeah, just repeat that cookie-cutter maxim as though that has relevance to an obsolete group that nowadays comprises you and your stamp donator.

You could try searching eBay? Or stop one of these cyclists supposedly cruising around wearing one, to pitch an offer.
Have you ever seen a cyclist wearing one?

No, I have never seen one but then I haven't seen one of those "pleasing steady streams" either.
I should add whilst out on my bike, walking or in a car either.
Perhaps it's a nighttime thing as they all go out to howl at the moon.

They were never for sale, they were free (members only).
N.B. Vests are out of stock...and the way our account looks, it's unlikely there will be a second run anytime soon.

And perhaps for that nocturnal meet they rendezvous on a local moonlit beach along with the hundreds of members in Said's Society of Shadow People, all the while out at sea a lone captain stands on the deck of a sinking, dilapidated, rust-bucket of a ghost-ship, and as it is swallowed into the oblivion of the deep, the captain proclaims uselessly: "A ship is only as good as its crew!"

It could be that your forum friend who pm'ed you is a lot less of a friend than you realise...
It is remarkable how they have never once themselves commented on this thread or the previous thread in which you were (also) making your claims about Local - leaving you to voice their rumours.
They've been so silent it's almost as if they don't actually exist...

The poster who pm'ed me must exist, or else where did the pm come from?
I can see two possibilities. Either they were mistaken and the person who picked coal was not 'local', but was another person. Or, they were unaware that the coal 'local' picked was no more than the odd lump - as 'local' has stated.

Or your silent and mystery forum 'friend' views you in terms of some kind of "useful idiot".
But yes, they've been remarkably unsupportive of you on this thread and the other, especially given that you've been friends with them for over 40 years.
Still now, they remain as silent as a ghost.

Whoever it is who's the rumour-monger forum friend of the PNP is continuing to dishonour themselves with their continued and complete absence of PNP support on this thread.

If the person who pm'ed me was to have posted on here about 'local' coal-picking, then 'local' would have been able to see just who it was.......Then 'local' might well have had something to say to them next time they encountered each other, for letting his 'carbon cat' out the bag.

What is the matter with you? Are you trying to win points or something? Yes, Shadow people do exist - pity you are not a Christian. No there are no such things as ghosts - energy cannot come from nothing. There lies the paradox - work it out.
