Morrison's £1.50. It is £1.44 in Liverpool, so for fifty litres you save £3, but pay for the cost of getting there.

At today's exchange rate it's 97p. per litre here, and that's about 30% more than it was a few months ago. Why such a huge difference across the world, I have no idea.

Fuel excise here is approx 22.6p per litre. Which would go a long towards explaining the gap.

Fuel duty & VAT have been static for several years, crude oil is in the $85-88 per barrel range lot less than 2011-14 when it was well over $100 so apart from a small increase in manufacturing and transport costs it must be dow n to the falling pound and racketeering.

If you look around Europe there are some eye-watering prices.
We have to produce more of our own energy.

The biggest single fall of the pound in recent times, happened directly as a result of the LEAVE Brexit vote - duh!

You really do write some utter twaddle - the £ is currently £1.20 to the Euro at the moment and has been on the up for quite some considerable time. Duh!!
