But they are not supposed to leave a safe country to come to the Uk whatever their grounds for asylum and they must have leave to enter before they arrive in the UK so if they appear here ad hoc illegally now they will be on the way to Rwanda to be processed. When they are processed here they are looked after for years and SOME are denied asylum and asked to leave so they just pack up and run to the next town and you can’t do this in a third country processing facility.
So in effect they will be paying the people smugglers for an indirect ticket to Rwanda, or they could stay in the safety of a safe country like the rules require .

I assume you don't object to the word "dislike"? That idea of machine gunning refugees seems to thus suggest that dislike isn't too strong a term.

I think people can't get their heads around a Remainer disliking any foreigners. The simple logic seems to run: Brexiteer = racist, xenophobe, Gammon, etc.; Remainer = enlightened, progressive soul and good person who is on the right side of history, etc.

Odd thing is, I don't remember anything like the numbers of migrants getting from France to UK, by whatever means, whilst we were members of the EU!

I might not want them to risk their lives and their children's lives leaving a safe country and appearing without leave to enter by chancing it crossing the watery graveyard that the channel has become only to be sent off to Rwanda .

I thought they already did for asylum seekers from wars and stuff like UKraine, the public are even giving up space in their own houses to help but not for boatloads of peoples that we are or were recently at war with that believe in killing every last one of us and that pose as children burning their passports and ID and claim they are from places that they are not then when there applications are unsuccessful they run off into the country instead of showing up to be deported and commit atrocities like blowing up taxis outside local hospitals and other stuff that’s not always reported … for example.

People from all over the world live legally in the UK and contribute saving lives and making this country better, I am interested in different cultures and colours, foods, attitudes and comedy banter and all that goes with it, I have worked with legal and illegal folk and found the polish and Russian folk to be the most interesting and hardworking, I have worked with south Africans both black and white ( and found what they say about each other is true ha ha ) and many more from all over the world and my youngest son is half Brazillian (the worst half). It makes me laugh when people try to say I am anti foreigners, all I want is to get a doctors appointment the same day and not to have the British taxpayers to fund health tourists and illegal immigration housing while homelessness is rife.
Suddenly I have great respect for Johnson’s speech the other day, people should have a go at listening to it. We can’t go on as we have been doing, people complain if nothing is done and people complain if action is taken.
I am sorry to sound so hard hearted but this has been coming for a long time and I think it has the support of the many.
