Maybe it was the Santa video
Or maybe it was some malcontent that would rather the thread closed that reported it while sat next to Mr Ben in a lonely church in Narnia.

Hey little Londoner , I think toodles was just scratting for an argument and using selective statistics to bolster a poor stance I wouldn’t take any notice, I don’t think it matters about who is gay snd who is not that’s an old nut of an argument and doesn’t offend anyone anymore it’s the preaching it to kids part that is pure sickness and annoys people, any sexual nonesense and kids just Dosent mix, children should be left alone with this .
You're right, it doesn't matter who is or is not gay or anything else but you are highlighting the problem. It's not preaching it to kids, kids need to be educated with the truth anything else is covering it up, hiding reality and this breeds hypocrisy and bigotry, kids soon realise they are being lied to and the issue moves from a 'so what' to being a problem.

I am not highlighting the problem the video with it’s sole message to children is the problem. I am disagreeing with the problem or issue and I DONT think kids need to know about gay marriage or tell them it’s ok to be gay or preach to them anything about the subject because they are KIDS.
Whichever way you look at it, this message that’s not for kids is being highlighted by making a video featuring a children's and religious peoples champion, I don’t know why you say I am highlighting the problem by disagreeing with a Santa gay video that kids will see, noo your wrong to say that. I mean where will this go next and most kids already know enough if not too much about gayness from tv and the playground and talks with parents and most of them ridicule it, yes laugh at it and that’s another fact none of this matters to me at all apart from involving kids, that’s the only offence it causes me otherwise it’s just a target for comedy for me I never really look at it any more serious than that apart from finding it disgusting but that’s my personal view and everyone is entitled to that, life is hard enough let kids be innocent kids while they can .

The reason that we tell our children it is OK to be gay is that it is. I watched my kids grow up. Nobody groomed them, they just turned out gay. Nothing evil happens, they just love people of the same sex. What possible harm is caused by making kids comfortable with their sexuality.

With you this issue is much more than a gay Santa.
I am an out of the box, standard edition, heterosexual male, I find the thought of sexual activity with another male quite repulsive, however I am civilised and educated enough to know that my norms don't apply to everyone else.
People are not converted or taught homosexuality, it is what it is, but just stop and think, when you babble on about homosexuality you are talking about people, real people, how do you think those people feel and react when faced with a barrage of derogatory and the "not normal" comments?
Is it any wonder that so many live a lie, go off the rails and even harm or kill themselves, would very much prefer that people can live their lives in peace with a partner of their choice, rather than see a marriage/partnership break down, with all the hurt this can bring.
Closing eyes and minds to something doesn't make it go away, accepting that some have different preferences, which are not quite so abnormal as you seem to think, plus of course as our children grow up they do need to know and understand that possibly their friends may have a different outlook on relationships than they do, but they are still the same people, they have not suddenly become "unclean" or "abnormal"

The kids do need to know about gay marriage or when they encounter it which they will do they won't be able to deal with it.

Well I am pretty much the same standard type that is repulsed the same as you are and I understand not everyone is the same and am not overly offended by the choice of others, live and let live I suppose, this is what the gist of all my posts has been on this thread. I still don’t think young children should be burdened with the knowledge of adult issues such as this, it’s not normal in any definition and I am not the police of their feelings or choices, I believe that the vast majority of folk will not tell their children that this is ok and as children grow up and see the ways of the world they will decide for themselves who to reject and who to have as best friends, how many gay friends have you got??, But all I can get from this at the moment is the minority of people I have heard of that tell their kids it’s ok to be gay have ended up with all gay kids … as happy as they are I guess.

How old do you think kids should be before you tell them about gay marriage and how old do you think they would have to be before you tell them that it’s ok or normal or encourage them with it, why do they have to deal with it, they might just think it’s odd like most do , what’s your story why are you saying this ?.

It should be taught as part of the Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education which is taught through the childrens Primary School life.

How many have you got? And how many of them are too scared to tell you that they're gay?

Let kids bd kids, don’t rob them of their innocence, certain religions get the choice if there kids participate in religious education so why haven’t parents got the choice about teaching 5 and 6 yr olds this subject that culturally and traditionally the VAST majority find distaste with.

As I said before the Asian Muslim community really don’t like it and are not frightened to say so .

I take it you wish to use medieval religious beliefs as a standard? good luck with that.
