The end of the British Royals?
So it's going to be civvy dress at Phil the Greek"s funeral because disgraced Andy and now media star wannabee Harry can no longer pretend to be military men.
I can"t see Charlie Boy taking enough time off from talking to flowers to make it work when his time comes, and the Commonwealth has had its day.
Will it be a president or will the PM's family be given duties?

We can always live in hope. The French had the right idea.

I don't know if anyone saw it the first time it aired, but there was an excellent TV film about Charles' ascension to the throne and the events immediately afterward, called 'King Charles III'.
In it, Charles decides to interfere in politics, with disastrous results. It was quite prescient, with Harry getting a mixed-race girlfriend and eventually wanting to give up his royal titles and become a commoner.
Although it probably isn't appropriate for the BBC to show it for a while, but if it does come on, it is well worth a watch. Might be on one of the streaming services.
Tim Piggott-Smith was really good as Charles. His last role before he died.

Neither is trying to put together a list of Presidential Candidates, going by the current intelligence they will be picked from the Only Way is Essex and Gogglebox.
Any candidates with a grip on reality and World Affairs (no not The Duke of Pork) will be excluded.

The Prime Minister is only the Leader of the Government, in America the President is pretty powerless without the backing of the two houses. How much would be saved by just having a President and Vice President (there are plenty qualified for the vice part) and getting rid of all snouts in the trough, plenty of properties could be sold off, Buckingham Palace would make a good Travelodge or similar.

Does anyone know what the difference is between how much they cost and how much they earn in tourism?

Nobody knows the real costs, whenever the cost is mentioned all you ever hear is 'they fetch in millions in tourism etc', a hollow claim. The true costs are hidden away in a myriad of budgets spread over all departments. Tourists would still come to visit London and its 'attractions' just as they visit Paris, Venice & Rome.
