No Vaccines No Work.
The land of the free is firing people who aren't being vaccinated.
New York State's largest healthcare provider, Northwell Health, has fired 1,400 employees who refused to get COVID-19 vaccinations, according to a spokesman, Joe Kemp.
Several other states, including California, have imposed similar measures.
Officials have credited the requirements with increasing the rate of vaccination,
They are not unusual.
Should we do it here in more places, the NHS is looking at it?

I thought you can apply for proof that you have a medical reason why you should not be vaccinated.
If you get this proof of medical exemption you’ll be able to use the NHS COVID Pass wherever you need to prove your COVID-19 status within England. Maybe it will be the same with employment?
But personally, I feel it’s completely inappropriate to employ people in the health and care sector if they’re going to pose a health risk to patients.

If you have a health condition that rules out covid vaccines surely you won't want to work in a place that requires them?

On the other hand you might, for if everyone else is vaccinated in that workplace (especially if it's a workplace not open to the public) then you'd potentially be benefitting from the nearest approximation to a sort of (imperfect) 'herd immunity'.

What kind of self-employed person you are will be a factor. An unvaccinated self-employed tree surgeon will be subject to less pressures than an unvaccinated self-employed community arts worker.

That's a nice extreme example straight from self-employment to starvation.
No other jobs just straight to the cemetery.

you did say no jab no job ,take away their ability to earn and feed themselves.all over a experimental vax that to date is proving pretty much a snakeoil stopgap that only protects you from limited levels of care interventions, not catching spreading the desease.here we are now three jabs in less than twelve months.israels into number four and their talking five soon!abject failure to me.fortunatly had covid back in the beginning so feel happier at my natural imunity gainedby making people have passes when they cant have these jabs is discriminatory in its very nature were does it stop.a cold shingles, every rash and spot.all ails can kill you as does fear..

"By law, the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 gives the Government the power to prevent and control an infection. However, the legislation specifically prevents a person from being required to undertake medical treatments such as vaccinations. Accordingly, further primary legislation would need to be introduced in order to legally mandate a COVID-19 vaccination.
Whilst employers can certainly encourage their staff to receive the vaccine, vaccinations are voluntary."
You cannot force people to have a vaccination against their human rights. That would be classed as GBH. Employers would get sued massively.

Thought I might look that up Prof;
With 9 out of 10 pharmacists, and 7 out of 8 physicians apparently expressing no hesitancy over the vaccine,
Forbes
Still means quite a few I will give you but there are a host of reasons within that hesistancy.
So I suppose it's what do you mean by "largest group"?

I can perhaps understand your reticence to have the vaccine but labelling it a snakeoil stopgap is not evidenced by the extensive data sets on its efficacy.

Shingles deaths are at around 50 per annum.
