Firefighters were called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision on Ash Street in Southport at 11.19pm on Sunday, March 11.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 11.14pm and crews were alerted at 11.15pm. They were on scene at 11.19pm.
Two fire engines and the Search and Rescue Team attended the incident.
Firefighters freed one person from the vehicle. The person was assessed at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital for further checks.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around 40 minutes.

Here's hoping it is one of the 5 boy racers that flew down Haig Avenue into Forest Road earlier,driving at speeds of about 45-50mph,with no consideration for anyone but themselves.Commonly known as Hedgehog cars,with the pricks on the inside.

It wouldn't be a 57 reg Focus would it ? There is a braindead clown driving a black one at high speed everywhere he goes. I can only hope.
