Aren't two things being conflated here, the quite reasonable protection of minorities and over representation of them in the media which will hopefully die down as they realise how patronising it is to people in these so called minority groups.

Every advert,TV show etc does not need a token person of colour or accentuated sexuality to sell bake beans or act in soap operas.

And in Budapest a billboard advertisement in this vein caused the government to call for people to boycott Coca Cola altogether.

I don’t agree with promoting same sex marriage, homosexuality or religion to children I think these subjects are very dangerous to developing young minds.

Excuse my maths but if you group everyone else together including those who refused to answer and those that “don’t know” however you try and juggle the figures 6.3% is still a minority group.

I'll wager there's an unaccounted-for missing percentage. I.e. the discreet closet-types, who falsely stated 'straight' when in fact they were not.

Don’t forget to include those LGBTQ and all the other letters that go after it you might be able to squeeze a few more percent ha ha , I think the exact same types that will try to manipulate the figures and/or make statements like this are the types you are mentioning. I think anyone that is not gay and has little interest in the subject will accept the facts and figures as a well known minority generally not accepted by most of the general public. How many straight MEN will say “ I am not homophobic some of my best friends are gay “.

Simple layman’s armchair psychology dictates those like you that say people who have a distaste for homosexuality must be homosexuals themselves …but this is a defence of a closet homosexual, to accuse those who find distaste, it’s simple misdirection akin to a double bluff.
