So many? Do you think there is a greater ratio of gay to straight MPs and police than any other walk of life?
Or do you think with the amount of homophobia around, gay people just actually need more protection? When was the last time you heard of anybody being abused, beaten or murdered for being 'straight'?
If there wasn't so much homophobia, then we would all have the same protection. Because one section of society wouldn't be such a target for knuckle-dragging morons. When society is truly equal, we get treated equally. When sections of society are though of, or treated as 'less than', they do tend to need protection from utter $h!theads.

All he is stating is that there should be equality for all! Is that not what the PC brigade constantly tell us?
There is equality for all with laws in place to ensure it.

Ha!Ha! I doubt very much if those who go around shooting people, assaulting or stabbing them stop to think "Hang on a moment, can I be sure that this is a gay person?" Why do gay people need more protection than disfigured or those afflicted with some abnormality? For thousands of years such people have had to put up with real life - or are you suggesting that gay people are more inadequate than most people, that they need protection? I am sure that they would not like anyone even suggesting that. Do you not realise that by giving these people 'special' treatment, it is singling them out! it is creating an inequality - it is making them different to other people - it is making them a focus which is completely opposite to the intended aim?
I know that each time I see the local Gay Pride police car, it immediately makes me think that the Police are on their way to arrest a gay criminal.

Ha!Ha! Correct! I certainly do not dress like a rainbow! Instead of drinking lemon tea you need to try some hydrochloric acid - might make you more agreeable.

Do heterosexual people not get targeted by knuckle dragging morons too? I don't know but I would imagine they don't give a toss about the sexuality of anyone whilst them and their mates give someone a hiding, they rarely do anything when alone.

Of course. But do you know anyone who was targeted simply for being heterosexual?

As soon as someone tells you that they are Gay you are being targeted.

Those within the gay community and with a warped agenda love the stereo typical pantomime gay look and promulgate it.
For some a cause has to have friction.
Putting the pawns up front in their "war" brings inevitable traction.

What? What 'war'?
I don't think you see anybody with a 'stereotypical pantomime gay look' outside of a drag show. Or a Pride parade. Both of which you'd have to seek out.
It does seem like there is a 'war', but it's only going one way. Most, if not all the LGBT people I know would like to be left in peace without any confrontation, any snide remarks, any violence. Just accepted as being as much a part of society as anyone else. No fuss.
Do the people of this town live in some kind of 1970s 'Dick Emery' show? It's as though the past 40 years just haven't happened here.
After Brexit, shall we vote to take Southport out of the 21st Century?

How many times has that actually happened to you? Please don't tell me that you think that if anyone mentions they are gay it means they are interested in you personally.
If a bloke mentioned his wife, would it matter? If a bloke mentions his husband, what difference does it make? How would you react any differently?

You can't seem to understand I don't know WHO is homosexual or heterosexual among my friends and acquaintances as I am not interested I don't ask their sexual orientation I take them at face value hence my dislike of people FORCING me to know. What they do in their own homes is THEIR business.
Well not being linked to the Police National Computer and able to trawl through millions of assault reports I don't suppose I have to assume that it hasn't happened because most men/women would not admit to being attacked by a gang of homosexuals. But when you see the likes of Tatchell "outing" homosexuals who wish to be left to live their life without everyone being told by a headbanger like Tatchell is it not beyond the realms of possibility that Homosexual Knuckle Draggers have committed such acts.
