No 10 parties
Can or for how long will Johnson survive the latest round of allegations, the official Tory whine is that we must wait for the investigation, probably in the hope that everything will die down, or the investigation will acquire a particularly thick bucket of whitewash.
I think the latest revelations particularly have aroused real anger with the public and of course many Tories getting nervous about re-election prospects, notice that as usual when the brown smelly stuff starts flying, Johnson is nowhere to be seen, of course the opposition parties will push this for all it's, worth.
Sure I want the Tories gone, but I want them gone because the opposition have better plans, not only because they are running true to form as snivelling, lying, couldn't care less about the general population.

The Police need to get involved now. This shameful nonsense has been going on for far too long. Todays PMQ’s should be highly entertaining, assuming of course Johnson shows up.

We all know politicians can be economical with the truth, but with Johnson it's a way of life or some sort of art form, claims he thought it was a work event, how much more do we need before the country has had enough of lies, deceit and incompetence, notice just to add flavour the High Court has now ruled the fast track system used for PPE supply was illegal, have a nice day everyone, the crooks are in control.

The "work event" remark is irrelevant.
They were not allowed, just like funerals.. the regulation was against gatherings, unless essential. I recall an example of "essential" was a team gathered to conduct surgery in an operating theatre.
There must have been a team of people shut away trying to work out what Johnson should have said. If this is the best they came up with God knows what the rejected ideas were.

You most definitely have tunnel vision! ALL Politicians from ALL Parties lie constantly - in fact it would be a miracle and very refreshing to find any who speak the truth. The unwashed masses will only know on a need to know basis, otherwise lie to them they will never know the difference.
The general public have been lied to about our history in the past and our modern history including WW1 and WW2. You have all been lied to about the 'War on Terror' and how it really came about, about the financial crash of 2009 and the real reasons behind it, you were kept ignorant about the USA's economy in 2015 for a reason, the Skripal poisoning, George Floyd etc., etc., and even now,, Western media will not publish the news about large scale protests occurring in almost every country in the Anglesphere and Europe. If you do not bother to find out, no-one is going to tell you.

That does not present an excuse for Johnson.

We all tell lies at one time or another. Politicians come from the general public, therefore all politicians are liars because all people are liars.
Who then shall we elect to represent us because once elected they become 'politicians'?
And what is your definition of 'honest'? Is it someone who never tells lies? Perhaps someone who only tells little lies. And how would we ensure that those little lies are not magnified once elected?
We can see that society has a problem with its leaders and it is one that has beguiled humankind for centuries, perhaps for ever. King Henry the Eighth had his own way of dealing with errant politicians (and queens) but today we only deal with them by our votes; unless you are North Korean.
Epimenides the Cretan says, 'that all the Cretans are liars,' but Epimenides is himself a Cretan; therefore he is himself a liar. But if he is a liar, what he says is untrue, and consequently, the Cretans are veracious. This well known paradox is easily resolved by saying that Cretans are not liars all the time; nor are politicians

Presumably the police were involved at the time? I'm sure the police on duty at 10 Downing Street at the time were fully briefed and aware of what was going on!

Maybe they turned a blind eye, who knows?
The Times are also wondering why. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/l...hief-wllz6dw73

I tend to look more at the police reaction to the Sarah Everard vigil for comparison, as already stated, I think the good old Nelson eye was in use at Downing St.

I imagine you think the rest of us are naive and under-informed compared to you.
Funnily enough we see the reverse.
No, I don't think all politicians lie. I have known a few.
Naive of me, I know, but I actually think quite a few go into politics to try to achieve something, whether or not I agree with them. What is spectacularly wrong with Johnson is that he has NO identity. He will do or say whatever profits him, or gets him out of a mess ( albeit into the next one).
Yes, some of them do lie, and sadly profit from it.
I look forward to your explanations of the major events you describe. I could do with a good laugh.
