Best Answer, Blackrock! Just because Cummings had a spat with Johnson doesn't mean we should believe him.

Let's be honest everyone knew he was a buffoon way before he was prime minister. Can't believe anyone is really shocked to have it confirmed.

Downing St has refused to deny the content of the recent WhatsApp messages.

As is usual on this Forum the left highlights the shortcomings of the right whilst either - being blissfully unaware of tbe same in the left or, hopelessly in denial.
Cummins is a grubby little toad of an individual, who's also been shown up as a liar yet - the left would have us believe every word he utters.
Very little is asked about why he was perfectly willing to trouser his substantial salary whilst, according to him, all manner of mad and bad things were happening within Government.
Spite and dummy spitting should not be given such excessive credence - ah but - it suits the left to attack the current incumbent, as it deflects the flak away from their lacklustre leader and his instantly forgettable frontbench.

As I keep saying how can you take character assessments seriously from people who thought Corbyn was a viable Prime Minister.
Thankfully as with most things, the lefty losers witter on about the country doesn't take it on board.
Bitter and in political exile they vent their Bile on the likes of Johnson it's just meaningless noise from frustrated perennial losers.
Cummings was, the lefty losers told us, the Puppet Master of Johnson, clearly that was rubbish but the myth perpetuated amongst them.
Now the "Puppet Master" whines from his unemployment and tries to make capital out of private conversations he had or overheard.
Everyone with a teaspoon of experience in the real world knows we all have conversations not fit for public release as we work towards resolution and policy.
Its nonsense.

It's a good saying, though technically it is wrong, as you can have smoke without fire. :)

Johnson rode a wave of populism with his "get Brexit done" message, sadly as time has shown Brexit is far from done, when we get those who negotiated the "great deal" now saying it isn't fit for purpose and needs further negotiation, the country has been conned, sadly the pandemic has overshadowed everything plus giving a convenient excuse for any and every failing.

Yes but you know the rule: as soon as anyone criticises our beloved leader, distract immediately with 'the left'. 'The left' is a generic term to be coughed up at a split second's notice at the merest hint of scrutiny or accountability by the electorate, regardless of our entitlement to do so. So 'whatabout The Left'
As I've said many times, Johnson (or whoever) could roll into Downing Street in a Panzer wearing swastika armbands - or could do the same in a T-14 waving a copy of Das Kapital - it wouldn't matter. It is the fact that he currently identifies as a Tory. So they simply couldn't give a shiny *****e what he does.
They know exactly what he is. And if they don't, I've some magic beans for sale.

No distraction I think Boris makes a better PM than the alternative would have done and the voters clearly agreed with me.
The inescapable fact that undermines your florid last paragraph is Boris joined the leave campaign when they were forecast to lose.
Clearly if he thought as you say he would have joined the ones forecast to win.
Hmm let me remind you of your conviction that Cummings was Boris's puppet master its always good for weighing up your opinion.

A minority agreed with you.
You obviously have no clue about the money behind the leave campaign.
I do believe Cummings pulled Johnson's strings. Of course he did. As for whatever Cummings has said since his run in with the latest Mrs Johnson, I'd wait for proof. Although encrypted WhatsApp messages are a start.
You really either haven't a single clue about the character of the man you support, his entire history, his lies, his sackings, his breaking ministerial code, things he's actually said and done publicly, all that his colleagues, his employers, his family say about him, or as I've always assumed, you're a populist fanboy who simply writes 'Mrs Boris Johnson' (or Mrs Donald Trump) on your exercise books. Ignoring what the entire world can see.
I'll give the other Tories on here, bar one, their due. At least they've got the guts to say they don't give a ***** as long as they are in power. It's honest. None of this grovelling and spaffing at the very mention of his stage name.
Still got those beans. They are magic.

Some still do.
Then ask yourself, do you really think their opinions carry any weight.
This neatly explains why Labour is in perpetual opposition their supporters just don't get it, which is no bad thing.
I didn't rate either much but there was more to it than that.
And I had much prior experience of Johnson and am not at all surprised at the utter shambles he has created.
