But that's neither here nor there. Labour isn't in office. They've put their point of view to May. She's free to listen or disregard it. If there's an election, use your vote. Simple really.
And why on earth would you not want to be in the customs union or single market? Why commit trade suicide by shutting us off from the biggest single market going? Do you seriously think that any trade deal with, for eg, India or Pakistan won't involve massive immigration to this country? Deals with African nations? Asia?
It isn't like this whole thing has been played out in secret. The whole world knows we will be desperate for trade deals from April. We are starting with a disadvantage. Also, consider that those countries with huge deals with the EU won't be that keen to upset them by giving us great terms.
I've never known a more literal case of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Instead of having immigration from Europe, we'll have immigration from the rest of the world. On less favourable terms than we have now. Because Brexiteers don't want immigration.
Astounding.
Brexit is supposed to be a cross party issue.
The whole world knows that a 'no deal' scenario can and will happen.
I am a Brexiteer and pro immigration.
Immigration from migrants born out of the EU is a large part of belonging to the UK.
Immigrants prefer the UK as a destination.
This Country is popular.

Brexit has only become a cross party issue at the bitter end, during initial ""negotiations"" only the cabinet were privy to what was actually happening, May fought tooth and nail to exclude parliament, including Tory MPs from any input.
I don't think this country being popular with immigrants was the aim of the majority of Brexiteers, in fact quite the reverse.

She is certainly trying, similar scenario to buying the DUP, should any Labour MP accept the bribe it won't only be you shocked, frankly any Labour selling compliance to May should be named and shamed and will probably cause major damage to the party, I know that would suit certain factions.

Some are screeching insult to Britain, parliament or the electorate, clearly his remarks are aimed at the instigators and promoters of Brexit, I for one agree with him.
The entire farce was built on lies with obviously no plan then or now as to how to put the thing into action.
The truth I'm afraid.
REST IN PEACE THE 96.

Be honest who wanted Brown/wrong Milliband/ Corbyn as leader except fools like McCluskey. I would NEVER vote Tory but I couldn't in my wildest dreams want any of them as Prime Minister. I know Coco The Clown would be better than May but Labour/Tory/Lib dem are like a cultural desert British Politics needs a good shake up and a Party emerging from the ashes that works for EVERYONE.

That is a real worry, with the lash up from the present government in internal policies just as much as the Brexit farce, Labour should be so far ahead as to be almost out of sight, that isn't the case, although like you would never under any circumstances vote Tory, Corbyn does not inspire confidence as a leader, which is incredibly bad news for the country.

There are external EU borders in the heart of Europe, such as the one between Switzerland and France.
France, of course, is a founder EU member, while Switzerland is not in the EU but is part of the single market thanks to a series of bilateral agreements.
Switzerland is not in the customs union.
The borders between Bulgaria and Turkey - Bulgaria is in the EU, and Turkey isn't. But Turkey does have a customs union with the EU for most manufactured goods.
Because of all the EU legislation, traffic delays at this border can take anything from 3 - 24 hours.
While the border between Norway and Sweden, the border between Norway and Sweden. Sweden is in the EU, Norway is not.
Norway is part of the single market through its membership of the European Economic Area (EEA) but it's not in the customs union.
Norway's border with Sweden is one of the simplest and most technologically advanced customs borders in the world, and lorries only ever have to stop once. They do not have to repeat the same process on both sides of the border - here the delays are expected to take fifteen minutes only.
The Irish people themselves - personally - think it is a lot of fuss over nothing. They can see no reason to change the situation - spot checks would be sufficient.

You keep trotting the same old story out, OK, just give me or anyone else one good sound reason for Brexit which is to the benefit of this country and it's people.
Please don't trot out the "make our own laws", we already do, "immigration" we already have the laws and tools to control immigration, "freedom to trade around the world" we already do, incidentally much of that particular freedom will vanish on leaving, "save all that money we pay to the EU" it will be some time (if ever) before we will have paid of everything we are already contracted to, plus of course quite possibly losing much of the co-operation between the EU countries.
I am not some EU fanatic, far from it, but it is ridiculously simple to see that the best relationship with Europe is the one we have right now, not perfect, nothing is.
Where do you get the idea that remainers were unaware of the facts, most remainers knew too well that the arch Brexiteers were delivering a bin full of lies and impossible promises, sadly too many leavers believed the golden sunny uplands as portrayed by Boris and his gang, don't look so sunny right now.
