They keep saying on the news that between 50 and 60 % in hospital with covid have not been vaccinated .

And a much higher proportion of those in ICU unvaccinated.
It's all part of the mania for automatically distrusting authority, which of itself might be quite healthy, except that instead they trust fanatics inventing stuff on social media.
I have no respect for the "freedom" argument as it ignores the responsibility we have to each other.

I wonder what would happen if people were told: "You have the option to refuse the vaccine, but we then have the option not to treat you if you catch Covid" ?

You just get fed up of persuading people to see the light - don't you?

I think some antivaxxers thought they would lay low and it would all pass.
Did any of us ordinary people think we would need 3 vaccines?
Deny the 1st the rest become bloody mindedness.

I wonder how many had the vaccine and suffered seriously bad effects from it and I wonder how many have had it twice AND a booster then caught it and died or ended up just as sick. Yea Are they normal people aswell.
How many Doctors and nurses, scientists and professionals that are involved in the production of the vaccines and funeral directors and poloticians and baronesses speaking out about the vaccine, the bad effects the untested, untrusted and unsafe, why is there so much controversy among professionals and when did people start trusting the governments when they can see that they are making stuff up as they go along, I am just wondering you see I don’t know but I wouldn’t call people that don’t do as I do fools because that’s what fools do. Anyway I certainly wouldn’t go protesting or trying to force any opinions on anyone as people can decide for themselves I guess, but I wouldn’t want children to have a vaccine as let’s face it even the scientists that make and test it are winging it and the government are not following the makers advice, just to be clear like it’s not all “I’ll do as I am told and shame those that don’t comply”, again that’s what fools do, and you could be wrong as NOBODY knows, the statistics say you could be less affected if you have the vaccine and then get the virus, making it up again as they go along and some believe that .. good luck with that .

Yea I am an idiot we have heard it, there’s lots you don’t know. No as it happens I am exempt on medical grounds and although I am exempt from wearing a mask I still do as i find it silly that those who are exempt ( the most vulnerable ) should be at the most risk by not wearing a mask ( I am not sure masks do any good but they will stop some bacteria I am sure be it a cold , flu or covid or at least Keep your nose warm )
Although if I did think being vaccinated was super safe then I would take a chance but if the government the scientists and the general public want to take chances that’s up to them and you .. and me, but I am guessing you have already gathered I am not a believer and am not chancing it .
But yea for arguments sake and to dodge your bullcrud bullet I am exempt on medical grounds and would not like I said before push my views on folk or unsuccessfully attempt the bullcrud you are trying on now with your legendary not so smart comments

Not such a smart reply either Mick.
The common cold, Flu and Covid are viral infections NOT bacterial. Trying to get your facts right would make you look a little less thick. Do keep up!

Why don’t you try and find something on here that’s not bicycle related or needs you to be an authority to show the way or to reprimand or put people down so as to appear more grandiose and feel better about yourself than you do. Something you can congratulate someone on or say something positive about or just post something nice instead of calling people names with short unentertaining poorly thought out out quips to somehow attain the last word believing if you get that you have been successful at not being called an idiot when all that has happened is people just get fed up arguing with idiots and eventually end up not replying just like on all the bicycle threads when they die out, I think I have told you this before haven’t I?.
So go on force yourself to say something nice, I dare you, I personally don’t think you can, I don’t think you are capable and I don’t think you can find anything that you have ever posted that is in this vein .
But you could always change there is still time for you to be someone we are all watching you to see if you will .

Would you run out an be vaccinated every time you coughed or your nose ran? Would you be vaccinated against ALL other known diseases that you might catch? If not? Why not?
The huge majority of people are immune to this virus and all its variations because most people have excellent immune systems to protect them.
Everyone has millions of viruses in their bodies - it is part of the human biological make up. You could kill off every one of those viruses and you would be fine for about twelve hours. Don't kid yourself - just as 'experts' do not know about 'climate' sufficient to predict how it will react in any forty eight hours, so 'experts' know even less about viruses. This virus has not been isolated.
Recentlywe are being scared by alleged new strains of “SARS-CoV-2”, but that claim isnot based on solid science. First of all, you cannotdetermine a variant of a virus if you haven’t completely isolated the originalone.
"One of the crucial points in this analysis was that the studies contending to have shown that SARS-CoV-2 is a new and potentially deadly virus have no right to claim this, particularly because the studies claiming “isolation” of so-called SARS-CoV-2 in fact failed to isolate (purify) the particles said to be the new virus."
"Samuel Eckert even offered €230,000 to Christian Drosten if he can present any text passages from publications that scientifically prove the process of isolation of SARS-CoV-2 and its genetic substance. The deadline (December 31, 2020) has passed without responding to Eckert. Drosten
And another deadline passed on December 31 without submission of the desired documentation. In this case the German journalist Hans Tolzin offered a reward of €100,000 for a scientific publication outlining a successful infection attempt with the specific SARS-CoV-2 reliably resulting in respiratory illness in the test subjects."
