What a contrast
I went for a walk around Sefton Park yesterday as I was in the area. It is the second Liverpool park that I have visited in the past month, the previous one was Everton Park. Both of these parks were clean and tidy, shrubs kept trimmed, grass cut everywhere, weeds removed from all the shrubbery and flower beds, water ponds/lakes kept clean, no rubbish lying about, no dogs mess, even lights along the pathways had been installed. I saw a council worker needlessly blowing loose leaves from the pathways, fallen trees and branches from the storm had already been attended to and there was no graffiti on the statues nor the palm house. A unique addition were a flock of parakeets.
I bet these parks do not have to rely on the sincere efforts of Voluntary park keepers struggling with low funding. Southport parks are busier than those we visited in Liverpool - but one can see where money is spent.

As usual trying to promote your BS that Southport money funds Liverpool, just to be clear the two parks you rave about are operated by Liverpool City Council, absolutely sod all to do with Southport.

Great artist this chap using his sense of humour and bad publicity to his advantage, despite his personal choices which are nobody’s business but his own there’s no denying he is a top star, it just goes to show talent is talent regardless .

Yea surprisingly I am a big fan …… only of the music tho ha. And wish I could play piano half as good .
