They backed the government's European Union Bill, supported by the Labour leadership, by 498 votes to 114.

But the SNP, Plaid Cymru and the Liberal Democrats opposed the bill, while 47 Labour MPs and Tory ex-chancellor Ken Clarke rebelled.

The bill now faces further scrutiny in the Commons and the House of Lords before it can become law.

The prime minister has set a deadline of 31 March for invoking Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, getting official talks with the EU started. The bill returns to the Commons next week.

Would that be the "Muppet" who almost single handedly won by a country mile the Euro-elections.

Then the Big Red bus "lies" chestnut, did you miss the court case ?

After years of information there's still a lot of ignorance out there it seems.

Don't recall Theresa May being in power at or before the referendum. Fairly sure see came after the then prime minister did a runner quick style.

Yes I'm sure he did wonderous things while on the committee (sarcasm), well when he bothered to turn up of course.

Care to enlighten me where the court case says it wasn't a bunch of lies/untruths.

The only thing stupid, is that so many believed the right wing parasites.

Farage may have done very well in a protest situation, but surely no-one in their right mind would want him and his entourage as government of this country, mind you the USA voted for Trump, so I guess anything can happen.

The BIG RED BUS was just part of a calculated programme of misinformation, no matter the lie on the bus has become totally irrelevant now that any money promised or intimated has long vanished into the Brexit black hole.

Glad you concede there is a lot of ignorance out there, some of us realised that long ago.

The Judges are quite clear it was a gross figure and perfectly reasonable to use in the course of an election.

At no point do they call it lies or half truths.

So Mr Marcus Balls con job hit the buffers.

Cast your mind back a few years - bearing in mind that nothing happens in politics by chance. Around the first few years of the turn of the century, the BNP were becoming very popular, having gained 50 seats in local government. Not long after, the UKIP party, which had been growing since the death of Zac Goldsmith's father, had a new leader take over - Nigel Farage. Nigel Farage had worked in government for some years, was well known for being outspoken against the EU in support of the UK, he was also a friend of David Cameron, according to the Daily Mail. UKIP lost a lot of support to the Conservative party under the opposition leader William Hague, who was a Eurosceptic. Nigel Farage was given a wider platform to mount a campaign for his party, which was highly successful and supported by the media. The Guardian reported.
Now in February of 2016, David Cameron had a meeting with the EU - the last of many - to negotiate the relaxing of certain EU policies that would have been detrimental to the UK. The EU showed him the door.
Then Cameron announced the referendum in the interests of the British people. Many people for remain said he had done so out of spite and then resigned office rather than face the public. The truth was that David Cameron had no intention of standing for a second term of office as reported in The Telegraph, but had been persuaded to do so by Parliament. Recall his right hand man, George Osborne? Osborne was also a Eurosceptic as reported in The Independent. So now we have very close friends, Boris Johnson, George Osborne and David Cameron. What would you surmise? In March of 2017, The Times interviewed David Cameron. In this interview, David Cameron admitted that he was a Eurosceptic all along.
So who do you really think are ignorant of the facts? Do you believe that it is the Brexit supporters? People who had been watching, listening and thinking since 1993, Or is there any chance it could be the 'Oh, I never knew' remain supporters? Those who were suddenly woken up in 2016 to a referendum.

There's some whole new ""facts" in there.

Where in Government did Farage work for years ?

A friend of David Cameron ?

Which media supported Farage to be leader of UKIP ?

    George Osbourne a Eurosceptic ?

If you still think it was a lie Marcus Ball will take your money for an "appeal"

Thankfully his money grabbing appeal ground to a halt when his fallacious action floundered against the buffers of common sense.

There is a rather obvious point missing from the big red bus lies believers thinking process,

The UK on leaving the EU will have £350 Million a week to decide what to do with not £250 Million.

Your missing the polnt we can decide what to spend the money on but a big chunk already comes back as the rebate, in case you don 't know that will cease, so £359m - no.

Stack it any you wish, but any savings will be the NET figure not the GROSS figure, in any event I wouldn't concern myself with that sum any longer, the Brexit black hole has already swallowed that and more.
