Hasn't anyone noticed we seem to be going to war with Russia?
It seems like Boris Johnson is trying to divert attention from the binfire that is his government by going to war with Russia. This is why it probably isn't a good idea:

It isn't even an idea. Russia is just trying to nullify through a fear factor any prospects of NATO being joined by some of its neighbouring countries....

It's already happened, Russia want to stem the flow
Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Poland and several of the Balkan countries have already joined NATO, Russia desperately need a Black Sea port to give access to the Med.

Russia already has a port within the Black sea and accesses the Med through the Bosporus Strait - or something like that, doesn't it?

A fall out with Russia will cost us dear, the KGB agents will no longer come here to spend money visiting our Cathedrals and buying perfume.

We have a PM and a cabinet faced with a very serious threat from the east and all they get asked about was if Johnson saw the same staff inside or outside last year, secret santa and did Keir have a bier.
And does Biden even know where the Ukraine is?
No wonder Putins pushing his luck.
I might also focus you on China who are also seeing an opportunity or two the useless media and opposition have lost the plot.

Who else apart from the Opposition and the Media should be exposing the corruption and wrongdoing in the Government?

So you think we should be taking on Russia. It will certainly be a clash of Titans as my mate Harry so eloquently puts it..
...On the one hand, there is a former KGB officer who served during the Cold War. Rumoured to have killed three times during his career. A skilled close-quarter combat fighter, crack marksman, proficient in knife fighting, expert horseman & mountaineer. A man who survived the fall of the USSR & built a political career of enduring power, besting murderous rivals, assassins & gangsters along the way.
And on the other is... Liz Truss. Who is said to have issued [checks notes] 'a stern rebuke.'
Phew. Glad we've got it sorted then ?

I think a responsible media and opposition might consider which is the most important and deal with the threat commensurately, but we haven't got either, unfortunately.
Like the alleged PPE corruption, the truth is usually not as portrayed.
Did Boris meet the people from inside outside, was there wine or,
Putin's 100,000 troops at Uktraines borders, hmm wonder which is more important

Playing the distraction game I see, sadly the partygate rubbish is important.
There is currently a potential explosive situation regarding Ukraine, which we could become involved in, directly or indirectly, yet we have a situation where a good chunk of the British public simply don't believe or trust Johnson and our own government thanks to continued findings of wrongdoing.
