I suppose that is something to blame the Conservatives for they have been weak on the obesity epidemic.
The death toll would have been lower if people could have been forced to take better care of themselves.
We have tried being soft and failed and got the result.

Medical Dr's should be able to tell a patient they are overweight particularly as non medical people are likely to be accused of fat shaming.
If a patient visits for a complaint not related to their weight it is
risky for a G.p to mention even more risky if it is to a parent
about their child without living in fear of an official complaint.
Happy healthy overweight people like happy healthy smokers are
ok until ill health comes along.

So true, the NHS is quite literally groaning under the strain of self-inflicted disorders.
The statistics are appaling and these are for a few years ago;

It would help if Dr's were not overweight or smoked if they are going to counsel patients.

Some / many joint replacement patients get told they can't have the operation until they lose weight, this needs extending to other treatments.

There have been more than a few occasions were a patient has lost the weight as required, then no longer need the operation.
I am aware that are too many who are grossly overweight, but is that proportion of the population as high as is often stated?

You only have to look around the streets it's very real.

What short memories you all have. This virus pandemic was generated on a computer for which it had to have a large number of corrections made. Does every human being suffer from exactly the same biological maladies, at the same time and to the same extent? Does everyone have the exact same genes, the same ancestry? How much do you understand about computer programming? Computer programming is only successful if there is an exact outcome to a set pattern of events. Human biology has no such pattern.
Climate change has been generated on a computer - there is no set pattern to climate either - and in both considerations, no-one on earth understands the full details of either event.
If I was to put foreign bodies into my blood stream, my natural biological defences would act immediately against those unnatural elements thus weakening my immunity against anything more serious. There is no telling just how long those foreign bodies remain in the blood stream, and I read the ingredients of the vaccine - so no thanks.

If you haven't had your vaccine what is it that stops you?

Sure subjects such as herd immunity are discussed, but again it is clear we haven't achieved that as yet.
You babble on about unknown chemical etc being introduced to you bloodstream, it is absolutely certain that you will have had a fair number of childhood vaccinations already, for me I'll take a chance on the vaccination coursing through my bloodstream rather than this current corona virus

A) Probably because the excess weight they carried, was putting excessive strain on their joints. The same can apply to issues with heart, where it has to pump blood around a body way bigger than the human heart evolved to cope with.
B) When it comes to being overweight, the evidence is there for anyone to see. Simply take a look at those around you where people congregate, e.g. in a typical supermarket queue. Although the truly morbidly obese will more likely remain out of sight indoors, sending someone more able-bodied to do their shop.

A walk around the front on a sunny day will probably say it is higher.

The sad and worrying thing is though, that some people are gullible enough to read Said’s bizarre and nonsensical posts and wonder if they have a valid point or argument.
Most of us here are aware that he’s nothing more than a mildly eccentric, harmless crank but some people could be taken in by it all. Once the seeds of doubt have been sown it’s too late.
It’s a shame that the mods don’t remove his posts or at least apply a ‘pinch of salt’ warning to the ones which are just absolute rhubarb.
