That nasty smell of racism keeps creeping out from under these anti-Rwanda posts.

The question is whether the policy is working, a source of numbers which need some better weather to establish an accurate trend;
Date Migrants detected Boats detected
18 April 2022 88 2
19 April 2022 263 7
20 April 2022 0 0
21 April 2022 0 0
22 April 2022 0 0
23 April 2022 0 0
24 April 2022 0 0
The Ministry of Defence does not believe that any migrants arrived on their own terms in a small boat from the English Channel.

Oh.
The UK government has confirmed that 254 migrants crossed the Channel in seven small boats on Sunday, May 1, after an 11-day pause in crossings. More than 100 are reported to have arrived already on May 2.

Yes, that's why I put;
a source of numbers which need some better weather to establish an accurate trend;
Now the word is out that the Government is going to be tied up in the courts by various groups the numbers will be stratospheric until and if they start going straight to Rwanda.
The French have been shepherding boats from their waters to us all day and dopey Keir the beer says we should work with them.
Has he been on Mars or eating too many curries with Angela or is it Pizza it used to be Pizza before he remembered she was breaking the law in Durham with him?

Surely this is a good thing?
Wouldn’t it be appalling if the government were to be seen to be breaking the law, heaven forbid.

Please accept my apology. I inadvertently clicked on the "dislike" button.
Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.

I think it's a case of F-FW can't imagine that a racist, illegal govt policy that many in the home office are ready to rebel against is both racist and illegal.

There will be deaths on the hands of those closet racists who wouldn't say anything if it was a white EU country instead of Rwanda.
They are literally putting money in the criminals hands and people in the sea.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
Racist scum.

An old right wing tactic, Trump used to use it.
Accuse your opponents of your own crimes. Trying to stop a racist policy is branded racist, by idiotic sinuous turns of illogic, of course.
The "pro-life" (as long as it isn't the mother's life) groups in the US are adopting this old tactic right now. I saw a RW woman on TV argue that banning abortion is "progressive" and "pro-women" because "women deserve better than abortions".
Did F-FW ever defend the Orange Mussolini, by any chance?
Before my time...
PS - local's grammar hasn't improved - "if it were a white EU country" and - "criminals' hands".
Plus ça change, as they say.

There should be a Godwins Law equivalent for the use of the ex President to bolster feeble arguments.
Just for amusement can one of our closet racists tell us how processing the so-called "boat people" in Rwanda is racist.
And then there are the desperate grammar observations, which for some reason my stalker might explain is usually only reserved for me.
I am going to have to start checking at home for tech savvy lurkers at the end of the drive peeping
