    You haven't read my post properly;

There is a rather obvious point missing from the big red bus lies believers thinking process,

The UK on leaving the EU will have £350 Million a week to decide what to do with not £250 Million.

I specifically made the point that on leaving we will have to decide what to spend the £350 Million on.

The question of rebates, grants, subsidies etc will be over.

At that point it will be quite legitimate to ask whats my money being spent on ?
and if you don't like the answer vote them out, something we are unable to do now.

I think all the money has already been allocated to 'no deal', hasn't it?

Think you'll find around 50% of that money was already being returned to the U.K. from the E.U.

Maybe they meant we'll save the money by selling it off the America and privatizing the health service?
Which should be fun, Interestingly I'm on a facebook page where some chap got burns on his leg from resin off a 3d resin printer. He got his bill the other day which fortunately he has insurance for. $25,000 . Say he'll still have to pay several $1,000 even though he has insurance.
    Fun times ahead I guess.

How I miss my own point is a new one on me but still the point I made quite clearly is we will decide on the spending of the whole Gross figure not the EU.

We do not control the EU grants, rebates, subsidies, the private sector recipients including farmers, research bodies.
Other recipients include poorer areas Wales Cornwall etc.

If any party tries to hive off the NHS you will be able to vote them out.
The 50% figure I don't recognise but anything spent by the EU here is out of our control .

Unlike now if you don't like where its being spent you can use your vote.

If Boris wants to spend it on Eton scholarships or tax cuts for fox hunters you can vote him out and I will happily vote against it to.

No where have I put that or implied it.

    I have stated quite clearly;

I do not expect to vote on the governments spending plans until the next general election, whenever that will be.

The EU doesn't offer that choice.

We cannot decide on how to spend the Gross figure as the amount received in the rebate is already committed by the Government.

The thing I find strange about that court case is that although it states ...

"The allegation is that the Claimant endorsed two misleading statements: “We send the
EU £350 million a week let’s fund our NHS instead
” and “Let’s give our NHS the £350
million the EU takes every week
”. The first was displayed on the side of a bus as part
of the Vote Leave campaign during the 2016 EU referendum. Each also appeared
elsewhere, for example on billboards. During interviews shown on television, more
than once the Claimant suggested that the UK parted weekly with that sum to Europe.
At the time he was Mayor of London and a MP.
    "

... the judgement is based around the figure that was used, and no reference is made to the 2nd part of the statement regarding how the money saved was going to be used.

The clear inference was that it was going to be used to fund the NHS and we all know he's backtracked on that.

Until Mr Johnson increases the NHS budget by £350million a week, the big red bus lie is exactly that, a lie ...

But Part of the Gross figure is already committed because it has been rebated so £350m is a fictitious figure.

Erh no first of all the allegation that it was a lie hit the buffers in the court if you still believe any part of it was a lie you can help the legal Action.

Marcus Ball despite raising £387,725 from people who think like you still has his gold plated hand out,

    https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/ballvjohnson

My central point is that the entire amount and indeed all government spending if and when we leave can be allocated by our own elected representatives,

and if we don't like it they can be voted out.

As to the money being committed that ends depending on any deal, the deal that failed went to December 2020.

My point was that people, like yourself, have used this case as a "lets draw the line under that one" for the big red bus lie argument ... when the court case only judged on the legalities of using the number quoted and said nothing about the implication of future spending proposals which, for myself and many others, was the main bone of contention.

That money from the rebate has been out of the equation for 35 years you cannot suddenly bring it back into it.
The £350m wasn't a lie it was merely an untruth, something that politicians are very adept at dealing in.
