You have to give that to them

Did anyone watch the Russian Annual Victory Day Parade? It does not matter what anyone thinks of Russian politics - the military parade 2021 was absolutely fantastic. They looked like a disciplined, strong, determined fighting machine.

They’re hardly likely to be too critical of him. They’d end up with a shot of Novichock in their bedtime horlicks.

Yep! Derek H in his pomp would call out a missed apostrophe or the lack of a comma. Yet he never once complained about the lack of Capital letters or any punctuation whatsoever in this persons posts.
Mind you Norway is a tad nearer Moscow than we are.
I wonder if jamyramy likes visiting cathedrals.

It’s the context that’s confusing. It’s a completely dogs dinner.

All posts are welcome.
Degsy's childish posts were usually targetted and showed his true colours, he wasn't actually driven by a desire to improve grammar at all.

I didn't watch the parade, but most of us do not realise that WWII was in the main won by the Ruskies and that they had millions of military and civilian casulaties in the defeat of the Nazis. I have several Russian colleagues and apart from an ex-collesgue who became a good friend most are a bit odd. When I remember their country's importance in the war, I don't worry too much about how strange many of them are. As our world is, so we are.

Yeah right! So the Russians go around poisoning people and advertising the fact that it is a Russian poison? Why did they not just use the common everyday weapon that is used today and no-one would have known about it? When they use propaganda, they should at least make it more convincing!
