Do you have a car?

Disagree.....No concern to anyone else, except when it comes to heating up the planet, causing more extreme weather/sealevel rise for future generations. In particular by needless over-use of fossil-fuels driving private cars for every single trip, if there are viable low/zero-emission alternatives.

It's getting on for 20 years since the work was done on my property and the contractors who did it were doing so for E-ON - nothing to do with today's energy situation.

I've always had my homes properly insulated. Not by energy companies, or council grants. Though I did get a grant once where they came and sprayed what looked like shredded paper all over my loft. But I guess paper is a decent insulator. I understand the sense of getting a property properly insulated.
It's daft not to. I even insulated my shed. Which is warmer than my home, TBH. Fine job we did. Not a drop of damp, nor a spider anywhere. I impressed myself.

Most people I know lease cars nowadays. All they pay for after that is petrol.

I see Liam Norton the moron behind the motorway blockers has declared himself to be a hypocrite, has no insulation to his own home and confesses he had no interest whatsoever in insulating homes, but clearly loves creating chaos.

It is a shame that such idiots have surfaced from their swamp to disrupt reasonable concern about insulating our homes.
It seems eco-hypocrisy is all around us.

We'd already insulated our loft and had double glazing installed before E-ON came up with the offer of additional loft insulation and cavity wall insulation in the early 2000s.
Would have been stupid to have turned it down.....

Why would you run to the next street in a car?
