Q-Anon
This is Jim Watkins. The man behind Q-Anon. The man who has every gullible pillock in the world believing Coronavirus is a hoax. Who has every half baked mug believing Trump is fighting a Democratic paedo cult.
BTW, he lives in the Philippines. Would you let him babysit?

Had you, perhaps read:
… QAnon may seem detailed and weird in its fantasies, but it is a deeply derivative conspiracy theory, remixing old lies more often than it conjures new ones.
…QAnon is an elaborate fiction dreamed up by Trump fans to meet the psychological needs of those who cannot allow themselves to admit what is plain as day to everyone else: that the man they voted for and support is mendacious, narcissistic, incompetent, corrupt and horrifically unfit, both morally and intellectually, for his office. He is so ostentatiously unfit to be president that the only way even his most ardent supporters can justify his position is to elevate their own denial into a baroque theology in which his opponents are Satanic pedophiles, and he is the defender of the children. — Moira Donegan
…a brief exposition on some features.

I hadn't read that, but it makes perfect sense. To face the truth about the deranged, thieving, racist, misogynist, sexual predator in the White House is more than they can cope with. What does it say about anyone that defends or follows Trump?
Similarly, I think it might have been DesReg that posted, the way that Covid Hoaxers (and antimaskers, antivaxxers etc) prefer to cling to the idea that it's some grand nefarious plan, rather than suffer the feeling of being out of control. That there's a massive conspiracy theory behind it. Otherwise it's scary and too big.
There are some conspiracy theories, and conspiracy nuts, that are harmless. Man didn't land on the moon? Doesn't really affect anyone, apart from p!$$!ng off the thousands involved. But Covid is a hoax or vaccines cause autism / are a plot by Bill Gates? That's dangerous. That can cost lives. I believe the Q-Anon prick has already cost lives.
How to stop it though? How to police the internet, so that the masses aren't controlled by lies and conspiracy theories? It's mainstream now, not limited to the pages of 4chan.

Have obviously heard of Q-Anon, never taken much notice, did a quicky research, I can't believe there are so many incredibly stupid people out there, is mankind regressing back to our origins?

I think we are. Chatting with friends recently and they were saying just that. People seem to be getting more and more stupid. Or gullible, clutching at totems rather than assessing things logically. Back to some dark age where suspicion is rife. As SGZ was saying on another thread, trust has (probably rightfully) eroded in authority. I suppose when there seems to be nothing but bad news on the horizon, it's easier to call 'hoax' at issues such as climate change or pandemics. We do regress to imagining bogeymen.

But the comments! Good grief. 'This is why Diana died'? Paul Walker died because he was going to expose the Clintons (was he the 'Fast & Furious' actor?). Pizzagate. At least Trump only targets grown women? And of course 'George Soros'.
They've really gone down the rabbit hole, and I don't think they'll be coming back.

It’s up to you if you watch it or not , it’s up to you if you believe it or not, this is intended to present facts and for the viewer to make up their own minds.
I have got to say tho these conspiracy facts are quite convincing they certainly make you go Hmmm.
But hey think what you want without watching it.
Perhaps it was all made up to make trump look good, yea right .

Ten years ago it was the 'Illuminati'. The names change, the facts don't. I managed the first 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes contained virtually every conspiracy theory going. I've seen it all before.
Seriously, the recent wildfires were a deliberate plot? The Vatican's telescope is called 'Lucifer'? Chemtrails? It's all easily fact checked.
I'm not saying that governments don't get up to some dodgy practices, history has shown they do indeed. But this video, and the thousands like it, is tin foil hat country.
Of course you can believe it, we're free to think in whichever way we want to. But look at the chap in my original post, read the article. Do some fact checking. If not, a few more videos like that and you'll be buying Coronavirus prevention pills from 'Infowars'.

Well if you have seen it all before and you think 5 mins is enough for you then fair enough, nobody knows who this Q is yet and it won’t be the pig farmer that owns some of the first porn sites that have been banned and showed child pornography, more like he may be the one of many that will come to the surface claiming or appearing to be this Q character to discredit the views in this video that you can’t bring yourself to watch cos you have seen it all so many times.
Commenting on something your cognitive dissonance won’t let you watch is an interesting standpoint.
Yea years ago it was the illuminati and it still is maybe ... or maybe not eh.

Er...OK.
So you are saying that although I've seen dozens of the same type of video, with the same kind of content, this is THE definitive report on exactly what is going on in the world, perpetrated by a dark cabal of evil?
Pretty sure the guy who murdered a worker at a Washington pizza parlour thought the same. He thought he was rescuing abused children from the cellar underneath this establishment. Except not only was there no children being held there, there wasn't even a cellar. But he believed.
Without watching it all, if you browse this list, I'd put hard cash on there being a selection from sections 4, 6, 8 9 and 10. You might find these interesting too, from the Great Orange Idiot himself.
More from Trump, for his fans.
Dismissing my viewpoint for not watching a video you've plucked from YouTube, among the literally 100s of thousands with the same content, is rather churlish.
As I said, you are perfectly entitled to believe whatever you like. I'd still factcheck, if I were you.

Yea believe what you like I guess, you can link all day long to one view or another and no matter how much sense or nonesense it makes I really don’t think I have stumbled upon a definitive view of anything, just some stuff that makes you go Hmm. Maybe it’s a trump promotional video?, if it is they have gone to great lengths to make it.
Anyway each one of us will make of it what they will.

You do realise that those who put out this garbage don’t necessarily believe a bit of it, but if they can convince enough mugs to watch/subscribe etc; then it becomes a nice little earner.
Various social media sites have been closing down those sites which are clearly commercial enterprises, but sadly the gullible are all too often easily convinced.
Of course while too many are busily hunting this mythical international cabal, the real villains go unnoticed or even praised for allegedly combatting this cabal, none, not one of the conspiracy theories stand up to scrutiny, in spite of all the fakery, lies and apparent support.
I am amazed that should you trouble to check the originators of so many ultra extreme views, all too often you find people with dubious and often criminal histories, or in many cases an old lie has been dusted off and pushed out again.
There are more than enough real issues in this world and indeed in this country in need of attention, without seeking fables and fantasy.
