I'd have thought that Leicester would be the prime candidate, they always seemed to topping the charts.

Fact remains, that 30% less people on bikes would equal 30% more cars. Unless of course, those ex-cyclists decided to share cars, lol!

Just another extra and very niche motivation, then, for your attitude towards immigrants!

I'm afraid to report that the PNP just couldn't resist going there...

Maybe they are simply in the habit of going in for large-scale adoptions?

Which would suggest that immigrants tend to be selfless, kind-hearted people, in contrast to some of the selfish, mean 'natives'.

Well, if this thread was a form of hackneyed stereotypes bingo, you'd be closing in on a full house!

More like extended family's travel in large groups to feel safer from ignorant comments.

The PNP's description of immigrants taking over doesn't really jive with what happened in Israel. It's a lot more complex than that. And, in my opinion, re-taking a country from a colonial master is justified. However, I'm damned if I can think of any other country where something similar happened within living memory.
You cited an example, PNP, why won't you tell us where this happened?
The 'quiz master' in question never marked as incorrect that guess at what they had in mind, so it seems that that must be their correct answer.

Large families used to be prevalent all over the world including in this country until not to long ago, often a double digit number of children needed to be bred to have 2 or 3 survive until adulthood to run the family farm or whatever. Improved housing and healthcare including contraception have reduced that need but this has not filtered through to all parts, it can take several generations to filter down.

Asian families, in common with Japan, China and similar countries, take much more care of the older members of their families, hence the larger family groups.

I'm trying to figure how recently you're imagining this "until not to long ago" was in England when 70 to 80% of kids didn't survive to adulthood?
