Nope. Still a shower of inbred parasites that leech off tax payers. (Are you referring to the revelations regarding the suspected paedophile Prince btw?)

No.
They've shown themselves up yet again squabbling over who wears what, you would keep quiet when one flunked basic training and the other is wanted by the FBI.

Defenders of the British monarchy usually argue that the tourism revenue they bring in pays for them. I've always thought that a curious argument for Northerners to wheel out - more so than for Londoners.
I wonder how much tourism revenue the British monarchy have been estimated to have brought in over the last 12 months.
Is there some kind of refund due?

I think if Randy Andy is called to account that will be it for Liz 2. Charlie Boy will not be able to handle it. He has previously spoken about the fate of Charles I and won"t want to end up with his own neck on the chopping block.

We’d still get the tourists, with or without the monarchy.

I don't think there's more. A continued respect for Queenie, sure. I reckon most people, even anti-royalists such as myself, think she's done her duty to the best of her ability.
As for the rest, I echo the sentiments of the rest of the posters. Prince Nonce should be packed off to face the FBI. The eldest will never be popular, particularly with Queen Camilla a reminder to some of who should have been queen.
Does anyone give a monkey's about the others?

I was surprised when this thread was started as there was already a monarchy one on the front page.
People are obviously entitled to believe what they like, but the love of royalty is a little bemusing and also sadly hilarious given that on the whole the Royals view their subjects ,especially the adoring and fawning ones, with amused contempt.

Yes for the Queen, Princess Anne, maybe a smattering for a few others.
Like most others, the nauseating Andrew and the whining young Hewitt get no support from me.
Looking at their privilege with envy is a pointless exercise, there are quite a few in our own town who have far more than they deserve and have never worked.
Life isn't fair.

Some interesting points of view, cant say I agree with some of them though but then everyone is entitled to their point of view . I am a royalist in that I respect the Queen having served her for almost a quarter of a century. Charles not sure a out him , Andrew some interesting points but remember he is innocent until proven guilty.
His brother the one who joined the RM , just a wimp . Anne I have great respect for as she is dedicated to her responsibilities.
God save the Queen.

It always amazes me how a joe soap journalist is able to get inside information from the Palace. Either it is a load of cr.. or journalists are allowed to sit in at private discussions with the Royal Family.

Prince Charles employs 121 staff for himself and Camilla, while the Queen has around 1000 staff. Which I am sure the employees are happy about in these times when so many people are unemployed.
