I don't think they'll go for the populist hard right-wing Le Pen, especially having seen how things are turning out over here when you tread that path.

Of course, this is only the Presidential election, so the effects are not exactly comparable, but that's my fallible take.

They each said that Le Pen was far more popular than he was and she should have got in. Macron was Merkell's puppet! Supposedly, it is claimed she even funded his campaign.

Macron is screaming from the rooftops thatit is Le Pen who is in bed with Putin. But then he is a liar and a weirdo, and as been right from the start of his office. Ask the French people.

If voting was truly fair (in the UK) our parliament would be a true reflection of the way the population as a whole had voted....E.g. if each of the three main parties had received a third of the vote, then each party would have a third of the seats in the House!
