Boris Plays a Blinder

There is a feeding frenzy of anti-Boris stories at the moment whipped up by the remoaners you would think they might learn from the lesson with the rug headed one over the pond.

He was lambasted from all angles legal challenges,old tapes, videos you name it yet the emetic one triumphed.

Or maybe the same theme with Farage bashing before the Euro-Elections which he triumphed at

Boris's central message is to enact what the people voted for and that is a very hard message to blot out with tales of his brother and dog.

Telling us he lost votes with a minority government isn't news.

Telling us he kicked out members of his party who passed control to the EU doesn't go down badly especially when they went against a leader elected by their party on a policy of leaving as he is trying to.

As before you might knock him down but it won't last him or his replacement will just keep coming.

The support for democracy is embedded far deeper than many would like to think.

Not a problem with that, it's what the ERG wants that concerns me!

Or his magnificent speech in front of police recruits, "Um..err..I..you do not have to say anything...um..I..you know how it goes"? Making Theresa May's efforts at the dispatch box sound like an offering from Oscar Wilde.

Oh how he was going to wipe the floor with Corbyn in the House of Commons. How his witty put-downs would make Corbyn look so small. He's managed to make Corbyn look more statesmanlike and calm and collected that ever before. Not an easy task, all things considered.

So here he is, a complete and utter failure if he doesn't take us out by Halloween. Failed the ERG. Failed the Brexshiteers. Failed the Fat Al Fanboys. Failed the bulletheaded gammonites wanted to stick it to that lot in the EU. Failed all those 'we won, you lost, so suck it up' types.

Unless he can do it. Then he can be your 'King of the World'.

It won't do anyone a favour and the opposition know it,

if they were so convinced he is wrong and doesn't represent the views of the majority they would support the election call straightaway.

He is the one who grasped the nettle with tha backing of the majority of his MP's and members.

Democracy is not popular with some in Parliament and those who lost the intellectual argument outside but the decent honorable people aren't ready to give up on it yet.

The delay bill, as you call it, does two things. Ensure we leave with a deal, and ensure the EU Anti-tax avoidance directive applies to us.

I'm quite happy with both of those.

As for Rees Mogg, that was a fine example of the contempt with which he treats Parliament. Again, entitled, arrogant uncivilised and disrespectful. I personally don't care if he stands on his head. But once the business of the House begins and another MP speaks, then to lounge like a sullen teenager is nothing short of derisive.

But as you seem to tug your forelock at that type, you probably see nothing wrong.

I don't know which newspapers you read, but if you think Johnson is doing a sterling job, you are deluded. He isn't looking out for the 52%, the 48% or anyone, but the financial elite. When his own brother walks away, someone who is probably far more privvy to Johnson's plans than almost anyone, it speaks volumes.

As far as his performance as an astute leader, significant when a guy on the street in Leeds had him dumb struck, unable to answer or explain, got all the answers you reckon.
