Baby Boris was a hit.

Boris put his foot in it.
Speaking about implementing the Brexit dealor rather the lack of implementation from UK Macron said that N Ireland is not now part of UK it is different.
Boris then started waffling about 'importing' sausages from Toulouse to Paris which is all part of France.
Rabb later compounded the error by using Corsica which is part of France and is fully part of the EU as an example.
They really need to get brain into gear before operating mouth.

The location and venue's chosen were great.
Really well thought out welcome to Biden after the disaster of Trump
and a great advert for British Tourism.

I doubt that Trump would have gone to a 'Backwater' venue, it wouldn't have been grand enough for him.
They were very fortunate to have superb weather which enabled them to maximise the photo opportunities.

What would be your idea of a 'back water'?

I think the Eden Project was topical.
Great place.
We visited last month courtesy of a holiday booked/delayed by Covid.
Also visited many other attractions.
Tedious car journey back.
Reminds of why we do not go there often.

Probably the most recent that would've been possible was the 80's

You must have had a good reason!
We stayed a few days.
Going there was not as bad coming back on a detour around closed exits in Birmingham on a Friday afternoon in slow traffic.

I've been down to Cornwall several times over the years, journey has got better, especially now you bypass Indian Queens!
Worst journey was 1999 driving back from seeing the eclipse, took 14 hours!!
