Teddy Snowball
There is a 1927 postcard on Ebay with a picture of a Southport boxer called Teddy Snowball, who fought between 1927-1935.
Does anybody have any more info on the man?

If I spend my entire life telling people what they want to hear, I'd die knowing I was a perpetual liar...

His surname is Aspinall, he lived down Pauls lane & worked as a groundsman at Stanley school when I was there in the 60s if I remember rite. Also his son Tony was my mate as a lad & he is in the stanley team photo that I posted on here under stanley v meols cop. He is back row 1st player in white. ( I was the goalie for stanley)
