Donald Tusk insult or harsh truth
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47143135
Some are screeching insult to Britain, parliament or the electorate, clearly his remarks are aimed at the instigators and promoters of Brexit, I for one agree with him.
The entire farce was built on lies with obviously no plan then or now as to how to put the thing into action.

Personally I agree with him too.
What a mess this whole thing is, pathetic negotiations, a deal that doesn’t deliver what people voted for, and that’s just the withdrawal deal before any talks on trade.
Theresa May is still peddling the same deal. I will be very surprised if she comes back from Brussels this week with anything different.
I votes remain but at the moment I favour no deal rather than her deal, or just call the whole thing off.

The British government has been acting in bad faith for the past 2 years and the EU know it. It's all part of the plan to leave with no deal and deflect the blame onto the EU.

Clearly not which is disappointing. But he's not in power.
Thought you'd be glad he's on your side as a Brexiter.

Tusk is worried because once we've left there
will be others seeking their own referendum.

If / when we leave without a deal it will stop any others trying to leave dead in their tracks.

Quite possibly, Especially if we get ANY sort of deal worth having.
You make it sound like a good thing, I just see unrest in Europe for the next 10 to 20 years. If my Son/Daughter end up having to go to war over this, I may have my personal war with everyone I know that voted out.

Hope your right. I can't see why people want the EU to fail?

He's correct, of course.
The likes of Johnson, nailing his colours to whichever mast might take him to Number 10. Gove, the same. Davis, utterly inadequate, entering negotiations with his salient points written on the back of a fag packet. The ERG, self-serving millionaires, rubbing their grubby, greedy hands at the prospect of a deregulated Britain. And May, an instinctive Remainer. But according to the excellent BBC documentary 'Inside Europe', the one who put the kybosh on a favourable deal that Cameron made with the EU to control immigration and prevent this mess in the first place.
I don't believe for one second that Brexiteers voted for this clusterf**k. There was no plan, just slogans on the side of a bus and the promise of sunlit uplands. Fox's 'easiest deal in human history' has yet to transpire. It's the same deal, just with a few words changed and chock full of 'maybe' and 'perchance' for future possibilities.
It has exposed the government, and possibly our whole parliamentary system, as incompetent and definitely not fit for purpose. The Tory party is incurably divided into factions, clinging onto power at the whim of pro-life fanatics. The opposition is hardly better, with disunity at the fore. As a Labour party member, I'm actually thankful that we aren't in power right now, and whatever Corbyn, the centrists, Momentum et al thinks is entirely irrelevant. There should have been cross-party consultations at the very start of this debacle. I'm not sure the outcome would have been any better, but at least the blame for this is squarely at the feet of the (ironically) inflexible anglepoise lamp* that is our Prime Minister. I can only hope that the main two parties have a complete overhaul after this fiasco.
I hope, for all our sakes, that the Brexiteers are right and the Remainers are wrong. But I still don't see how you or I will be better off in the foreseeable future, deal or no deal.

I personally doubt Tusk will lose sleep after meeting Theresa May. This must be the May grim look, it is grim
