Why is it sad? Southport has some wonderful independent and national book stores with a great range of books covering a diverse range of subjects. Christianity is thankfully losing ground in this country. We are now a nation made up of more non believers than believers now, I believe largely as a result of the churches outdated and bigoted stance on many topics, let alone the ongoing global child abuse scandals that are showing no sign of going away soon. This is just an inevitable result. Evolution of the high street. And if you really are in to reading this supernatural claptrap, I imagine there’s online retailers who will happily cater for this niche market.

its sad that any independent shop serviced by hard working and dedicated peopleis closing in these barren and heartless times.theres also a few more in Wesley street going in the coming months also along with at least six others in the canter.but on another point and more importantly says more about yourself! I,m not a Christian ! but feel you wouldn't be half as verbose about another specialised bookshop offerrings if they where of another belief system ie Judaic or muslim for an example .easy target for vitriolic chest beating.

What a bigoted, distasteful and, frankly, objectionable post.

In this case, I have a great recommendation for you when I need to find a book or any additional materials on it, such as jane eyre supernatural, then I always turn to a free educational platform where I can always find the book I need or something related with her. Maybe this will help you!
