You may not like him personally - but you do have to admit that he is a very powerful speaker and would make a strong leader. This is what the country now needs.

Today's FT
Arron Banks, the insurance tycoon who gave millions of pounds to the Leave campaign during the UK Brexit referendum, spent about £450,000 on politician Nigel Farage in the year after the vote to fund his lavish lifestyle, according to a Channel 4 documentary.
The gifts from Mr Banks, who is currently under investigation by the National Crime Agency, included rent on a £4.4m Chelsea home, a £30,000 car, £20,000 for a driver and a private office leased at £1,500 a month, the programme on Thursday said.
The revelations were contained in invoices, emails and other documents seen by Channel 4 News, it said.
Mr Farage, former leader of the Uk Independence party, recently set up the anti-EU Brexit party, which looks set to win the most votes in next week’s European Parliament elections.
Mr Banks told the FT that he was not disputing the allegations and that, apart from a couple of points, “most of it is pretty accurate”.
The businessman donated £8m in the run-up to the 2016 referendum to Leave.EU, the Ukip-linked campaign which ran a rival operation to the official Vote Leave.
Mr Banks is now under investigation by the NCA over the source of his funding for those donations.
Channel 4 claimed on Thursday night that Rock Services Ltd, a company owned by Mr Banks, leased a three-bedroom Chelsea home with a garage for Mr Farage in the summer of 2016. The broadcaster said the millionaire also bought furniture and fittings for the house, including crockery, chairs and bathroom accessories — and a shower curtain.

“So what?” Mr Banks said to the FT. “How is that newsworthy?”
Mr Farage was also provided with a Land Rover Discovery, valued at £32,300, for his use, the programme alleged.
Channel 4 claimed Mr Banks funded a private office space for Mr Farage at 40 Great Smith Street in Westminster, and paid the salary of a personal assistant.
Details relate to the period after Mr Farage announced he was standing down as Ukip leader following the referendum, although he remained a member of the European Parliament on a salary of €100,000 a year.
Channel 4 reported that Mr Banks and his companies organised and funded multiple visits to the United States in the year following the Brexit vote.
In July 2016, Mr Banks flew Mr Farage business class to Cleveland, Ohio to attend the Republican National Convention. Mr Banks, through Southern Rock, paid the American lobbying firm Goddard Gunster £64,064 for a “Nigel Farage Brexit Policy Luncheon”, the programme said.
In autumn 2016, Rock Services arranged for Mr Farage to travel to America on multiple occasions, including visits to St Louis, Missouri, Washington, New York and Las Vegas.
Mr Farage was the first British politician to meet Donald Trump after his victory in the 2018 US presidential election and was photographed with him in front of a gold lift at Trump Tower.
Channel 4 said invoices showed Goddard Gunster billed £108,684 for a lavish party in Mr Farage’s honour at the Hay-Adams Hotel, in Washington DC.
“After the referendum we went off to America, most of it is public knowledge. We had a party in Washington for Trump’s inauguration with around 400 people,” Mr Banks told the FT.
Mr Farage refused to answer questions from a Channel 4 reporter during an event in Wales on Wednesday. Channel 4 News said Mr Farage turned down multiple requests for interviews.
His spokesman told the FT he did not know anything about the claims.
Mr Banks told the FT he was launching a legal action against the broadcaster. “I’m normally extremely relaxed about this stuff but they are now releasing financial information. That’s beyond the pale,” he said.
The millionaire said he believed that his IT systems had been hacked a few months ago.
“Channel 4 News categorically rejects Mr Banks’ claim that his emails were hacked by this programme. We have had no contact from any investigative body on this matter,” the company said in a statement.
“Mr Banks’ previous complaints to Ofcom about our extensive coverage into his business matters have all been dismissed. Meanwhile, he remains under investigation by the NCA and his businesses by the ICO,” it added, referring to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
“Channel 4 News made repeated requests to Mr Farage for an interview to answer these questions raised by our investigation.”
Both Mr Farage and Mr Banks deny that he has given any money to the Brexit party.

Of course Thatcher is remembered, as one the most despised politicians in recent history, Farage comes second to the vicious witch, I'd keep that quiet if I were you.

Oh well, if failed UKIP leader candidate Bill Etheridge says so, even though after reading his Wiki page, he'd actually bear Farage's children if he could, then we should believe it.
Or not.
Let's hear from a neutral source. Shouldn't be hard to find.
Except that fact is that Farage's man-of-the-people act appeals to the feeble minded, the extreme right wing, those not particularly interested in politics because they don't understand most of it but will listen to anyone who tells them what they want to hear, to the elderly after UKIP's manifesto claim that they'd give ALL the money from our EU contributions to pensioners back in the day. In fact anyone who cannot apply a little critical thinking and really does believe that Britain, or what will be left of it, so make that 'England', can be restored to some former glory that never, ever existed.
Even the ERG have no truck with him. Watching buffoons braying like donkeys every time he utters some populist crap with no meaning whatsoever, is like watching turkeys cheering for Christmas. He's a self-serving demagogue, with no interest whatsoever in serving those whose ignorance he exploits. I'm astounded that anyone with the intelligence to string a sentence together is hoodwinked by him and his ilk.

Being cited as the second most influential politician isn't necessarily an honour. Hitler was Time Magazine's Man of the Year in 1939. Not because Hitler's influence had a positive effect on the world, but because his influence was huge. He was an incredible orator who managed to convince the German people that his ideology was the best way forward... and we all know how that worked out.
Mr Farage has been voted as the most popular public figure - You.Gov
Not quite, you've just plucked one piece of the poll result. What was actually said was:
"The YouGov data explains he is the “first most famous” and “first most popular” UK “other” figure, according to responses from 3,767 interviews conducted between May 15 2018 and October 31 2018.
The category took into account all public figures who were not members of the two largest UK political parties.
Including Labour and Conservative figures he ranked the sixth most popular"

Do you honestly think that people care a jot where the campaign money comes from? The greater majority of the electorate are not that fickle. No-one questioned Merkel's friend Macron where his campaign money came from - and that was obvious - Nor did they question where the funding came for Merkel's comrade Leo Varadkar. Only Leave campaigns expenses were questioned while Remain, that spent far more were not.
I am given to understand that Nigel Farage has been receiving large donations from several high ranking politicians from both the Labour and Conservative Parties who have asked not to be named. I believe that Farage would keep his promise, even at the risk of negative media propaganda.

I need to know more about this Shower Curtain, ha ha.
It certainly shows that Farage is doing something right, the sum total of this load of tosh is he has a rich patron who supports his cause.
I always thought he was an Arthur Daley/ Sid James character shuffling around the media but now I see he has some very wealthy contacts prepared to back him .
I am now more impressed with him.
