How were you played ?
If we have another referendum what do you need to make an informed decision ?
I have to assume you were on the losing side as not many would complain they were played if they won.

I certainly haven't been "played" except in the 70's when I voted to join a Common Market not a United States of Europe which the duplicitous politicians KNEW was coming.
I have wanted OUT for YEARS and no one can accuse me of being a right wing Tory.
What ANGERS me is the self righteous know-alls like Pnp who think it is some sort of Wonderland. Mind you if anyone takes any notice of him they are thicker than his renewable timber.

If you voted leave you will have noticed we still haven't left, hence being 'played'

I'm more angry at the Tory government who have consistently cut / privatised public services and sold off UK manufacturing amongst other industries - whilst providing tax cuts for the rich.
Did you know that our 'National Grid' - the energy system that runs this country - is 75% owned by other countries?
Telehouse 1 & 2 handles over 80% of the UK and Europe's financial Internet traffic stands on Canary Wharf - joint owned by Saudi / Canada
This EU crap is a total diversion from what our own government has been doing to the country for years.
Amazingly people are only just now waking up to it.

Criminals could be traced/picked up anywhere, by an EU equivalent of the FBI. There would very likely be an official 'common language' adopted (if we remain, quite possibly the English language).
B) You are perfectly entitled to your opinion, as am I.
C) Perhaps you should try stepping 'through the looking glass' for a year or two.....Live/work in one or two other EU States of your choice. Get a second language, meet, make friends and really get to know your EU counterparts. I'm not saying it will change your mind about the EU - but I might!
STOP BREXIT! VOTE REMAIN IF YOU FEEL SUICIDAL!

A combined army? To fight wars? War is about lives, people's lives. Who takes responsiblity for those people's lives? Will it be just one person in command? would it be a particular country in charge? What would be the common language among the forces or do they maintain their own language? How would each country's soldiers perform team work when they have very different ideas and views that each soldier has been brought up with? These are skills that cannot be taught. Each nation have their own values. What happens if a British commander tells Greek soldiers to put their lives on the line for some reason - will they agree immediately to a foreign command? What happens if there are problems in Algeria say, do all members of the EU take part except for France? What about the soldiers present contracts? German soldiers do not have to obey certain commands if they do not want to, and it is claimed that German soldiers do not have superiors other than their own nation? Who will say what war can be fought or not? What happens if more than one country requires armed interference? With all the 27 EU member countries together - they have not a hope in hell against the far mightier forces.
The armed forces of the USA are different - they are all of the same history, way of life and language. Even then, they constantly make errors in which thousands of people are killed, sometimes by their own forces.
People all over the World are nice people individually - cross one of them and you find that they group together and not so nice!

Well that paragraph proves once and for all that you take no notice of anything anyone posts. If it doesn't fit your agenda everyone who doesn't share your warped view of everything are ignored.
You really should keep up, and stop daydreaming. (I suspect that is on many of your school reports)

]I just don't get the anti-European attitude of some folk.....Makes about as much sense to me, as harbouring a dislike of (say Yorkshire) so intensely, that it leads to calls for an independent Lancashire. With customs posts and tariffs being charged on goods at County borders!

Why don't you spread your wings and embrace the world.
I have travelled extensively gained rich experiences and made many friends including around Europe.
Why so insular ?
the big changes in the world are not in Europe, try going further afield. As the world shrinks with technology restricting access to these experiences and markets simply doesn't make sense.
You quite literally have to get out more, 27 of Europe or 195 worldwide you do the maths.
Don't believe the hype from the EU xenophobes.

Well that is what differentiates sense from BULL*HIT you seem extraordinarily incapable of understanding the English language. I was speaking a foreign language in a foreign country in the early 60's before you got out of your sandals and short trousers. I don't hate Europeans you clown I hate the concept of being led by unelected buffoons, something you seem quite keen on. In fact you want to hand everything over to Europe, currency, sovereignty and anything else they can get their grubby little hands on.
You must think you are the only Briton who has ever been to or lived in a European Country other than GB you are insulting to anyone with brains that reads the absolute tripe you produce.

You are not led by unelected buffoons, you have a chance on Thursday to Elect your representatives.
