It is a quote widely reported in all newspapers.

Servicemen and women died because the US and the UK lied about WMD. Not supposition, actual facts. The same people calling for Blair's head over Iraq are more than willing to send in our troops, just because Corbyn issued a word of caution. Talk about pulling your strings. Led by the nose. Ooh that Marxist doesn't agree with blowing our troops to bits, so he's anti-British and pro-Arab. Let's tug that string a bit more, eh?
Not that it will make any difference, but I for one don't want to see our troops dying over the price of oil, which is basically what it boils down to.

Don't get me wrong, I've no time for medieval fundamentalist regimes. None at all. They're all horrendous. But Israel and the Saudis have wanted to poke this sleeping bear for a long time. Of the major players in the Iran Nuclear Deal, only Israel objected. The Deal kept Iran reasonably civil as long as the terms were kept. I'm not saying Trump is determined to undo everything his predecessor achieved, but let's say he wouldn't have taken much persuading. Especially if a regime change gives them access to the third biggest oil reserves in the world. So I still say it is all about oil. Not human rights, or keeping the peace. Just oil.

To be fair BJ was born in the USA.]
The family has history and links.
Corbyn is pathetic!
Sorry but his tweets/whatever do not in any diffuse or calm the political situation.
Of course the Tories must use political pressure to diffuse the growing tensions in the area.
Do you not think part of Corbyn's plan was the the release of Nazazin Ratcliffe?
As you know she currently is on protest hunger strike supported by husband mirroring the protest outside the Iranian Embassy in London.
Andrew Marr interviewed Mr Ratcliffe on spot and received an assurance the hunger strikes aim was not to the death making the couple's daughter without a parent.
Good to hear but totally destroyed any political bargaining point or statement!

America is forcing Iran to;
Iran has announced it will breach on 27 June the limit on its stockpile of enriched uranium that was set under a 2015 nuclear deal with world powers.
Its atomic energy agency said Iran had quadrupled its production of the material, which is used to make reactor fuel and potentially nuclear weapons.
But it added there was "still time" for European countries to act by protecting Iran from reinstated US sanctions.
is that the action of a peace loving nation ?
Is Jeremy helping them to stockpile ?

What has Johnson being a foreigner got to do with anything?
For the 900th time, Corbyn isn't in power. He can only, as leader of the opposition, ask the government to consider the situation carefully. To look at independent evidence.
What is pathetic is people such as Jeremy (rhyming slang) Hunt using that appeal to point score in his futile bid to become the next PM.
We can go down the Blair route, and leap into a war on the lies of America, Israel and the Saudis. Get our troops killed. Or we can learn a lesson from Iraq and take a step back. Except, as there's going to be a new leader, the contenders will jump in there, all gung-ho and all guns blazing to prove what a wonderful ally we'll be to the oil hungry war mongers.
Let me see. Blair was a war criminal for taking us into an illegal and unnecessary war, but Corbyn wants the opposite, and he's 'pathetic'.
Seems like the Daily Heil and co have you frothing like Pavlov's dog at the very mention of the name 'Corbyn'.
Still getting those strings pulled, I see.

The very widespread poor opinions of Johnson are just as valid, take it those opinions can be then declared as proof of total unsuitability of the guy ever becoming PM?

I actually have some sympathy for the Labour party. Jeremy Corbyn is the most unelectable leader they have had since Michael Foot, in fact he makes Michael Foot look moderate.
By rights Labour should be over the hill and far away in the Opinion Polls instead of languishing on 21% support. Quite why Corbyn keeps calling for a General Election is a mystery because no party can come close to gaining an over all majority in the HoC.

No wonder Jeremy looks unhappy it looks like he will have BoJo making him look stupid.
The floppy Boris is an intellectual giant compared to Jeremy and his easy time with Theresa will soon be over.
You have to feel sorry for him, power just keeps slipping from his grasp and now his shadow cabinet wants him to back remain against all his principles and belief.
Jeremy sees a huge chunk of the Labour vote going just when he was getting near to power.
Labour like the Conservatives is split over Brexit.

Is America a truly peace loving nation?
Are they hidden behind the weapons of mass destruction?

If it was the other way around - born in UK bidding to POTUS he would be inelegible to stand.
Why should he be eligible to stand in this country?

Really? Do you have any links to Johnson being a great orator? Where he's ripped apart his opposition?
He couldn't handle the prospect of facing off against his rivals in the leadership race. Blustering and bumbling and the odd Latin word won't cut it at the despatch box. Neither will his famous 'letterbox' 'picaninny' phraseology. Or his 'wankerer' poems. Corbyn won't really have to say much. Johnson is more than capable of cutting his own throat.

Not according to recent polls. No more than the Tories, certainly.

We will it seems soon see, Corbyn will without a shadow of a doubt be left floundering by floppy Boris.
I take the words of Katharine Dommett (Oxford University Press)
Boris Johnson has deftly used a combination of intellect, scandal and wit to boost his own status and normalise his views. In so doing his exhibitionist, outsider persona has greatly advanced the Conservative’s electoral cause, at once attracting a clutch of new supporters and energising the grassroots. In this chapter it is argued that oratory is integral to Boris’ success – but also marks his limitations. The blend of humour (pathos) and logic (logos) deployed often at the expense of his own character has helped to create a unique personal appeal which attracts broad support and disarms opponents.
Boris is clever don't doubt it, he has rode a huge media firestorm yet still gets to the job in hand convincing MP's to support him.
We who don't get to vote and wouldn't join the Tories are not on his radar neither are the media much to their chagrin.
