Good to see young people getting on.
There's only a few giving the young a bad name they don't all sit around whining most are busy making a life for themselves.

Well done to all concerned. It is a very emotional day, I am pleased you were all so proud. When my son graduated I cried not ashamed to admit it.

Congrats! My grandson got his Masters at Leeds on Thursday. We weren't able to attend, but his Mum sent dozens of pictures and videos.
He's worked hard for it. Here's hoping he inspires his younger siblings.

When my daughter graduated at Harrogate a few years ago, it was very emotional. I even cried privately in the toilets. It was a great achievement for her.

Agreed.....Getting right qualifications makes a massive difference to your life.
Back in the day, I was on a measly £9/10/- (£9.50) a week working 40 hours for Asda. After returning to college and qualifying, I was in a new job and on £500 pm.

There's nothing wrong with tears of joy far better than self pity.

Back in what day? 1970's 80's 90's. I didn't know Colleges did courses on sweeping chimneys.
