A homeless person has set up a tent in Southport's Kings Gardens. The person has also left their bike propped up against the tent. Hope its locked up!

He is intentionally homeless. He was helped into sheltered accommodation in Bootle, which he didn't like.
He was then given a flat in Southport which he didn't like because, and these are his own words - 'if I'd known the landlord was a p@k1 I wouldn't 'ave gone there in the first place'.
There are certainly more deserving cases.

So sad, but a lot of people do prefer to live like this .

Like or dislike - the statement is an incontrovertible fact.
I know if I had no ties or responsibilities I would love to pack up my essential kit in my bergen, lash on the LPC's and hit the road. (though I'd pay a bit more attention to my personal admin than some do).

This just shows you how bad the offered accomodation must have been.

How wrong could you be.
My friend has number of properties and I've done some work for him.
He's one of the better landlords and I suggested that
if you're taking on a new tenant then please go check their previous accomodation.
I wouldn't have put some of these people in my garden shed
they just trash the flat.
This person's situation is of his own making.
