As to getting shafted by any major power, what and who exactly from the James Bond book of super villain capers do you have in mind for us.
In fact James Bond in Project Fear sounds apposite.
Who mentioned super villains or James Bond? Is this another example of you completely fabricating another's opinion, then repeating it for post after post?
It isn't 'villainy', it's us being in a poor negotiating position compared to economic power houses such as the USA or the EU.
Ceam has already provided the link as an example.

Maybe just maybe the penny will start to drop. Although I think it's going to take a little longer with this one...
Maybe after the no deal Brexit. When it's to late to stop it, Maybe then there will be the realization that we have put ourselves in a shocking negotiation position and that actually no country give a flying f^$$ about us. That these great trade deals are nothing but dreams, grass is greener on the other side scenarios.

But we'll get no where near the same position we hold now within the E.U.
Concessions, the £ could have to go. Can't believe how we have royally F^*^ ourselves.

Rejoining will be more painful even than leaving, what's the bet that a rejoin will include the Euro, Schengen, and more control not less.

Absolutely no doubt about it. We are in a privileged position within the EU at the moment. We are shooting ourselves in both feet.
We've been played like an old fiddle. Well, around 17.4 million have been. 16.1 of us were not and I guess about 16 million couldn't or wouldn't vote. There's no way of knowing how they'd have voted.
It's the oldest trick in the hard right manual. Blame someone for taking all the money. Look at all you could have if it wasn't for 'them'. If it isn't the EU, it's benefit claimants. If it isn't benefit claimants, it's immigrants. If that doesn't work, scream like merry hell about how much Labour is going to take from you. Blame Gordon Brown for a global crash. Blame anyone. Except the ultra rich, the oligarchs, the tax avoiders, the offshore account holders.
I'd go back as far as the 80s, but certainly in the past 5-6 years, there has been as sinister 'us and them' division in this country. And certain people have capitalised on it, profited from it and will continue to do so unless massive changes are made. Not just in this country, as the atrocities in the USA in the past few days have shown. 'Winners', 'losers', malice, xenophobia, nasty vicious language splintering the nation. We need a political revolution. Wholesale reform from the putrid top down.

Apparently Ollie Robbins replacement has briefed his EU counterparts that Bojo has no intention of asking to reopen negotiations, all that we want is to talk about a deal after No Deal.

In the mysterious mind of a remoaner we are going to float around the north sea after Brexit waiting to be picked off by a "major power"
The rather obvious point that EU member Greece is being picked apart by various "major powers" seems to undermine the imagined safety net of being within the EU for our country.
Apparently some of the finest commercial brains in the world will roll over.
You and your ilk do love running the country and its people down.
Thank goodness the lefty losers won't be getting their hands on our country anytime soon.

You are delusional if you think anyone will give us a decent deal. They know we want deals so they already have the upper hand. I do wonder about the basic logic of those that think we have some upper hand some how. Only way we get a deal is by giving something away. e.g. digital taxes to the USA.

FFS, you're a right little drama queen, aren't you? All this talk of super villains, James Bond and 'floating around the North Sea'. 'The finest commercial brains' don't think Brexit is a brilliant idea. You're living in cloud cuckoo land. Get a grip.
You've been played. You've been mugged off by the 1% and so desperate for them to be right, you're reduced to hysterical statements such as 'running the country and its people down'. Nobody is running the country down. Nobody is running the people down. Show me (again) where anyone has run the country or people down? Apart from the hard right filth that brought this about and the deluded idiots who persist in thinking it is still a good idea. The country will take whatever handouts it can get, in a commercial sense, because we don't hold many cards. That isn't running the country down, it's a hard fact. Or do you think we don't need any trade deals? Or that we somehow have the upper hand?
We need trade deals with the likes of the USA. The USA has already laid some ground rules (which you're determined to ignore apparently) and they aren't going to throw deals to our advantage because plucky little Britain has a Positive Mental Attitude.
We 'lefty losers' can't really lose. If you're correct, it'll be unicorns, rainbows and sunlit uplands. If you're wrong, it'll be the end of Johnson and Farage, the Brexit party and the Tories. Win-win, as far as I can see.
But you just stick your fingers in your ears, sing 'loser loser loser' like a five year old. Oh and completely invent statements that people haven't made. Just for a change. Like a real 'winner'.

Like Canada, it's highly likely that many countries aren't in a rush to get to the negotiating table with the UK, or roll over existing deals they have with the EU. In the event of a no deal Brexit, the UK's tariff schedule allows 87% of imported goods to enter the UK tariff free. As it's looking pretty likely there's not going to be a deal, exporters are reluctant to roll over deals to the UK. Why would they bother? They can export duty free, without having to grant the UK the same favour on UK exports to their country.
If they did agree to a deal, countries who don't have a deal would get a better deal on tariffs. Think about it! Absolute insanity.

Again you picture the UK as going to fall off some imaginary cliff completely unable to survive without suckling on the EU, running down our people.
Has anyone explained to you yet we are actually quite a big successful English speaking economy full of world beating brains.
We really aren't that useless and whilst it pleases you to believe that a lefty nirvana curled up in the EU's bosom is the only way forward the reality is not enough believe it or voted for it for years.
The EU which you think brings comfort to all its members is currently setting Ireland adrift.
They keep repeating the only way forward is a deal rejected by all sides of the house repeatedly and the biggest losers in all this is Ireland sacrificed on the altar of EU intransigence.
You cling to the doom mongers as a source of your "proof" that we cannot thrive yet they have consistently failed to give accurate information.
It is noticeable that you label people who want Brexit as hard right filth
and deluded idiots yet as it currently stands the Bennite in chief Jeremy Corbyn still wants Brexit, yes on his terms but its still out not in.
You are mixed up aren't you.

Stop putting the UK down.
One only has to do the maths.
3 million Europeans chose to live and work in the UK
whilst 1.3 million live in the whole of Europe.
Clarification on Brits abroad.

To add to Local's post point
"running down our people."
Which includes our EU migrants legally in the UK.
Every Motor Company?
How is that (and reopening coal mines)going to pan out in saving the planet?
Just so you know-I am totally against sending EU Migrants down the mines.
Our taxes are still paying off compensation to the poor souls suffering from being harmed in their work place years ago.
