Oh, very funny! Reservoir water may be, but not the River Mersey!

That was on the news! How the hell would I know who looted and where? I only know the local areas. There was one case mentioned and if they knew who it was, they would have been arrested, wouldn't they? Anyway, there are Police who are supposed to be watching over people' property while they are away.

other than the risk of being mown down by the Royal Iris no great risk from standing in the Mersey.
"The success of the clean-up is evident. Beautiful creatures such as dolphins frolicking in Liverpool Bay are becoming a common sighting and a humpback whale was recently spotted flapping its distinctive pectoral fin.
Matthew Clough founder of Liverpool Bay Marine Life Trust said: “Other species enjoying the cleaner water, include octopus, salmon, grey seals and large cod, which are being badly hit worldwide.
We’re also seeing dolphin and porpoise recovery which is absolutely fantastic and even more evidence the clean-up is working.”

That's sad, my error for not Googling her. Had many a happy trip across the Mersey on her.

With more heavy rain around I'm sure that the residents will be comforted to know that if there is a further problem with the dam that they will be the first to know!
