I bet you're a real hoot at party's[/QUOTE]
Once again you make this personal.
Back up your argument with verifiable facts or get off the pot.

those countries where people come from are pretty well advanced. Syria, Iraq, even sub-Saharan Africa? Really? Maybe they are fleeing war, famine, persecution, good enough reasons to come to a cold, damp country possibly?
The unemployment percentage is CLAIMED to be 3.8%. That is when you ignore those on zero hour contracts, those forced into part time work who need full time, those people on courses, etc., etc., it is so easy to juggle with figures to produce the result that you want.
If you read the World News you will see that Syria is very advanced. Assad took many of the western ideas back with him after studying in the UK. The women are not oppressed and the country has many western style night clubs, hotels, etc., The people in Syria continue to work as normal, ride on pubic transport, go away for weekends etc., and the children still attend schools. The troubles have been decreasing for the past few years and tourists still go to Syria. The Syrians tell you that any problems there are, are spasmodic and regional and that in general it is only the borders that are unsafe.
However - young males in Syria are not happy with having to sign up for conscription which is the law in Syria.
Read in Arabic here. "Since 2011, the Syrian regime has kept thousands of Syrian men in its military service as emergency forces—serving for an unspecified period—and refusing to discharge successive batches of army conscripts; some of whom have served for eight years in compulsory service. If they do not comply, they can be charged with a criminal offense and imprisoned for up to three years. In order to avoid fighting in the regime’s forces, Syrian youth have resorted to fleeing their country and the compulsory military service. Those who flee are considered military deserters according to Syrian law, and arrested if they return." Atlantic council.
I can go on similarly with regard to the other countries you mention - but far better if you proved that for yourself. Unrest in the gulf countries is nothing new - these people have experienced Civil War for hundreds of years. Did the British suffer any less during two World Wars - how come the British did not run away by migrating?
You either believe the so called facts issued by western media propaganda and repeated in order to brain wash people into believing them - or you believe the truth. One simple question you need to ask yourself is "If these people are so desperate, so persecuted, etc., - why did they not seek protection in the nearest country to their own?"
OK?

Ah yes, of course, I forgot. You know the truth, you've spent years studying just this very fact and therefore you are the world's expert. The rest of us a just blind followers. This must make you feel great!
Now , YOU think about this FACT.
About 85% of the world’s refugees are living in developing countries, often in camps
Over 3 million people have fled conflict in Syria, and many more are displaced inside the country. Turkey is the biggest refugee hosting country in the world. It is currently providing safety to 3.4 million Syrian refugees. Lebanon hosts 1 million refugees. In 2017, 1 in 6 people in Lebanon people was a refugee. By the end of 2018 the UK had resettled 13,961 Syrian refugees
https://www.refugeecouncil.org.uk/
Your ridiculous point about the British not migrating during the war bears repeating only to describe it as a typical white supremacist trope that somehow these races from other countries are inferior. Plucky Britons stayed and put up with it! Where exactly would they have gone?

Most immigrants to here are economic which does seem odd as we are austerity central and with low real wage growth.
They trek a long way to get here through affluent countries despite many who love running our country down we must be doing something right,
What is it, the language ? the food ? Eastenders ? it's certainly not Boris or Brexit.

I would be most grateful to you if you could expand on what you say on your post. What are your views on the reason for so many migrants coming to the UK?
