I would be most grateful to you if you could expand on what you say on your post. What are your views on the reason for so many migrants coming to the UK?
Before you do, you need to read the
Iranian News:
akhbar iran farsi
I read the one in English. I don't see how it is relevant to this discussion. The others are not in English.
First of all SO MANY people are NOT coming to this country. It might seem like that to anyone who is feeling insecure, or worse, superior.
Secondly, people flee war, persecution etc. That is why they travel.
Thridly, some people flee poverty and so why wouldn't they want to come to a country that is safe and where they hope they can work? You can call them economic migrants if it makes you feel any better.

It is the many not the few 14% is hardly a smattering.
In 2014 over a quarter (27%) of all births in England and Wales were to mothers born outside the United Kingdom.
In London in 2014, the figure was 58.1%. In the London Boroughs of Newham, Brent, Ealing, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea over 70% of births are to mothers born outside the UK.

These are starling numbers, we seem to be very popular.[/QUOTE]
Maybe but the patterns the starlings make in flight are one of the worlds wonders.
There has always been a sub class in this country of ours who do not want to work and breed like rabbits to improve their finances and gain bigger houses on the tax payer.
We all know them, one of Southport's family of work shy shirkers used to be very vocal about foreigners coming stealing "our" benefits. The fact that this now 80 years olds last job was filling the ink wells at school and he had brothers and sisters who couldn't even manage that.
The simple fact is without Immigrants the NHS and the Care system would fail very quickly and the fruit & veg gathering would cease whilst we have a section of society who need a rocket up their jacksie.
EU Migrants when registered as 'employed' are entitled to certain
benefits.
"If you work different hours each week or have a zero-hours contract
You can still prove you have a right to reside as a worker.
The person who makes a decision about your benefits will look at all the details of what you do, including how much you earn, how many hours you work and how regularly you work.
You’re more likely to have a right to reside as a worker if you work regularly - even if your hours change each week.

People coming to work from all over the world filling vacancies and improving our skill set is a bonus.
There does though seem to be a "maternity and public services" abuse section that clearly aren't.
They reduce the services available for those who come here to benefit us all.
I don't know who your inkwell fillers are but letting more in doesn't seem a very good idea.

I'm not trying to make any point with my post, other than:

So I provided a link to prove BS Sniffer was indeed correct. I'd read it was one hour a fortnight. Thus the government figures regarding high employment seem to be massaged somewhat when they are playing fast and loose with the definition of 'employed'. Particularly when zero hours contracts come into the equation.
Nothing to do with immigration, just one of those side topics that spring up.

Sorry my fault should have made it clear that my comment was about
BS Sniffers post.
I do not disagree with you on the massaged figures but in objecting to the classification of 'employed' affects the number of people employed in the nhs propaganda.
It also affects EU migration in that to prove 'employment' the threshold is low for the amount of public services to support.

If you only read English newspapers, with reports sourced from the USA - you will read only what that source wants you to read. If you read other news papers, many from independent sources from across the world, you get a far better picture of true events.
There are seventeen countries experiencing unrest at the present time - many of these in the Gulf States which have throughout history had civil unrest. There is civil unrest in Hong Kong - but there has been no migration to the UK from there. There is severe unrest in Yemen, 10000 people killed and the country is near starvation - but there has been no recent migrants from there either - instead outside countries are sending in aid. There is also heavy fighting in Mexico - but the UK has received no immigrants from there either. According to USA news.
We are receiving migrants from areas where there is little or no unrest, or where the situation has much improved. Areas which coincided with EU trade deals. We are not receiving large numbers of immigrants because of humanitarian reasons. Large numbers of Eastern European people came into the UK - there were no wars, no unrest in their countries.
People fleeing from poverty? Have you any idea how much people pay traffickers to travel halfway across the world? It costs several thousand pounds - yet they are fleeing poverty???
The UK is one of the most densly populated countries in the World - that means it has more people per square meter than almost every other country. France is three times the size of the UK, Germany is more than twice the size - yet the UK has taken in more immigrants than either of those countries. Germany has indeed taken in more immigrants - but it has also sent far more back than the UK.
Just how many people living in poverty in the UK do you want to see? How many more people living on the streets would suit your virtue signalist needs? How many more British people do you want to see unemployed? How much longer should hte list be for British people to wait for medical help? Do immigrants to the UK take priority over the British in your narrow view then?
In the following map, the darker the colours, the more serious the unrest. Note how few of these people bother to travel halfway across the World, when they can travel a short distance to the next country for safety.
"The Second World War erupted when Mandatory authorities of Palestine were at the final stages of subduing the armed Arab revolt of 1936–1939. All Jewish organizations, including the Zionists in Europe also played a major role in the Jewish resistance to the Nazis in Europe, automatically allied with the Allied forces, including the British.
The Yishuv temporarily put aside its differences with the British regarding the White Paper, deciding that defeating the Nazis was a more urgent goal. The leader of Palestine's Jews, David Ben-Gurion, issued a call for Jews to "support the British as if there is no White Paper and oppose the White Paper as if there is no war".
During the war, Palestinian Jews volunteered in large numbers to serve in the British Army, serving mainly in North Africa. Of the 470,000 Jews in Palestine at the time, some 30,000 served in the British Army during the war.[15] There was a Jewish battalion attached to the British Army's 1st Battalion, Royal East Kent Regiment stationed in Palestine.
With the decline of the Arab Revolt by September 1939, the tensions among Jews and Arabs eased as well. During the war, among the Palestinian Arabs, the Nashashibi clan supported the British, while another Arab Palestinian faction, led by exiled Amin al-Husseini, supported the Axis powers. Haj Amin al-Husseini became the most prominent Arab collaborator with the Axis powers.
The Palestine Regiment was formed in 1942, combining three Jewish and one Arab battalions, reaching altogether 3,800 volunteers. It was involved in activities at the Mediterranean scene of the war, sustaining casualties during the North African Campaign. The Special Interrogation Group was also formed in 1942 as a commando unit composed of German-speaking Palestinian Jews. It performed commando and sabotage operations during the Western Desert Campaign.
The Jewish underground group Irgun ceased all anti-British activities by September 1939, and supported the British. An Irgun unit was sent to assist British forces fighting in the Middle East. In 1941, Irgun's David Raziel was killed while fighting in the Kingdom of Iraq with the British against that country's pro-Axis regime. Irgun also provided the British with intelligence from Eastern Europe and North Africa, and allowed members to enlist in the British Army"...............
British officials in the liberated zones tried to halt Jewish immigration, and did not recognize the Jews as a national group, demanding that they return to their places of origin.
Jewish concentration camp survivors (displaced persons or DPs) were forced to share accommodation with non-Jewish DPs some of whom were former Nazi collaborators, now seeking asylum. In some cases former Nazis were given positions of authority in the camps, which they used to abuse the Jewish survivors.[36] Food supplies to Jewish concentration camp survivors in the British zone were cut to prevent them from assisting Jews fleeing Eastern Europe. In the British zone they were refused support on the grounds that they were not displaced by the war.[37]................
During the 1945 British election, Labour pledged that if they returned to power, they would revoke the White Paper of 1939, permit free Jewish immigration to Palestine and even the transfer of Arabs, and turn Palestine into a Jewish national home that would gradually evolve into an independent state.
However, the new Labour Foreign Secretary, Ernest Bevin, decided to maintain heavy restrictions on Jewish immigration. Before the war, Bevin had been the head of Britain's largest trade-union, the TGWU and in this capacity had led a campaign to prevent German Jews being allowed to migrate to Britain.
Bevin favored the White Paper's policy of turning Palestine into an Arab state with a Jewish minority that would have political and economic rights, and feared that the creation of a Jewish state would inflame Arab opinion and jeopardize Britain's position as the dominant power in the Middle East. Bevin also believed that displaced Holocaust survivors should be resettled in Europe instead of Palestine."

Hyperbole typical of the far right. Actually, I do read a wide range of news and also follow right wing forums, although they make me sick to read the distortions of fact that are used to support their discrimination.
What makes you think the things you read are unbiased? The general tone is exactly what you have written above....Hysterical fear mongering and extending a fact to it's ridiculous extreme.
Your hatred makes you weak, and what's worse, it makes you gullible and ripe for manipulation by powers not sympathetic to the UK.
The rejection of science, dismissal of experts, reliance on feelings rather than facts, the rise of the know-all who's never studied a thing but feels entitled to offer advice or contradict those who have. All these things will bring about a decline in our civilisation.

You don't have to explain population density to me but you do have to explain how come , if the UK is as you say, it is way down on the list of world population densities. It's round about no. 21 on this list
