A large group of Travellers have taken over the Fairways Park & Ride. To make matters worse they have hung their washing out to dry over the fences for all to see.
Bank Holiday visitors will now have to find somewhere else to park.

I'm not sure the last time I saw that P&R open.

That's a helpful reminder of grey bin day.

The worrying thing is that these people are the creme de la creme of the traveller community. You should see what the rough 'uns get up to.

Some good drying days are here and with the breeze off the sea.
Our nomadic treasures bring colour to our lives like a troupe of travelling Tracey Emins.
It's like the Tate without the queues.

The Fairways Park & Ride hasn't been
Used for probably 7 years.
So absolutely stupid headline.
Please change your staff , you're wasting
good money.

Between March and October, the Fairways Park & Ride operates with a bus service on a Sunday and also Bank Holidays and costs £2.
The Esplanade Park & Ride operates only as a car park without a bus service on a Sunday and Bank Holidays during the period March to October. I believe it costs £5 to park your car.
Also, when the Flower Show takes place, the Park & Ride service relocates to the Fairway site for that 4-day period. A similar thing happens when the Open Championship golf tournament is held at Royal Birkdale.

I notice they are camped out in Dunes Car Park. I am told they are acting aggressively at people using the Football pitches and they are sneaking into the Fair and being aggressive with the staff and owner. Surely the Police can move them on based on their behaviour? The Travellers are selfish, they care about themselves at the expense of Law abiding residents.

These travellers were causing havoc in the town last night,as some would'nt leave The Phoenix, calling staff names, swearing, and wanting MORE drinks, even when the bar was closed at midnight, andthen having arguments with ANY Taxi drivers,as they were either eating in the vehicles,or resisting paying the drivers, they are the total scum of the earth, with NO regard or respect for anyone or anything.

Sounds the usual night out for them.

People are never "filth". People are just human beings.
These travellers will be moving on again soon - the clue is in the name.

What a silly post.
They are certainly a mobile crime wave - perhaps you could take issue with that. Human beings - honestly - give me strength!!!!
