When those pesky people voted "the wrong way" the mask quickly dropped from the "democrats" in Parliament who turned on the electorate for having the temerity to vote how they felt.

Those voters were then bombarded with bitter bile and our society rang to accusations of racism,xenophobia,stupidity and the courts filled with vexatious challenges, thankfully sanity has reigned in the Courts so far ?

I think that the documented evidence of a post referendum spike in racial abuse, particularly against Polish immigrants, supports an assertion that some leave voters are racist. They saw the referendum result as legitimising their bigotry, not surprising given Farage's poster of raging hordes of immigrants crossing a border. It emboldened them to crawl out of the cheese and openly hurl insults, such as "Polish vermin", at those who they consider to be responsible for all of their problems.

Racists love the remainer press searching out stories about them and the remain lobby just as with this post use it as a cover for their abysmal conduct since the referendum.

You only saw graffiti? Well aren't you the lucky one. Some Polish immigrants were killed.

It is not being used as an excuse for anything. It's what happened in the immediate aftermath of the referendum. As I said in another comment, some leave supporters are racist. I don't believe in painting a whole demographic with the same broad brush.
